I just watched a whole police pursuit.
It started as your average pursuit. Stolen car, cops staying behind and all that because he might have a gun. Yeah yeah yeah.
He finally stopped the car on a freeway, and everyone watching probably expected him to come out slowly with his hands out...! WRONG.
He came our with a goddamn sword. No joke. He semi-charged at the cops, then decided to run to the other side of the freeway and then toward an overpass.
He was about to leap over but then decided to sit down and chill for a while. Police began to make an approach with one of their dogs, and he began to freak out and back up.
After a short while of staring at each other and yelling stuff, some smart officers snuck up behind the crazy guy and held him down while the other officers charged in to swarm and take him down.
I expected the officers to be so quick on the gun that they'd shoot him the moment he walked toward them with the sword. Pretty exciting pursuit.

There was a high speed chase here in Maryland that ended in a house a few blocks away from me being crashed into, luckily there wasn't too much damage, but many lives were at huge risk, as a football game was also happening across the street from where it happened, with hundreds and hundreds of people, real scary.
