EDIT : for those who may not know, in the past, no matter what you did to your characters or items, the game always "remembered" your progress, you may lose items, but your kiosk and grimoire would always remain in tact, carry on
some people have noticed that making new characters or switching characters lowers your grimoire as of year 3, in some extreme cases, permanently lowering your grimoire
in this weeks update, they talked about the issue, and did not intend to fix the situation, that has NEVER been an issue before, the official statement below :
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Destiny: Rise of Iron Grimoire
Players may lose Grimoire Cards earned in Destiny: Rise of Iron if the Character on which the card was earned is deleted. As always, please exercise caution when deleting Characters or dismantling gear.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
not only is this the most alarming threat to player progression the game has ever seen, who knows what else year 3 has effected? grimoire loss is the only one so far
if you delete the character you earned a certain weapon bounty on, will the game "forget" you did the bounty and take the weapon away? who knows
bungie does, and they have made it clear it was intentional
please upvote for a reply from cozmo, and vote in the polls
please do both of these even if you agree with the new method
if need be, upvote and then vote against the poll, i don't care if you support me personally, just please get this trending so that we can get a more in depth response to what devs plan to do with the situation moving forward

3 답변It's year 3, and I have a solution. Stop deleting characters to farm for gear in VoG. They fixed that drop problem. You don't need to restart every 2 days anymore. There's no threat to character progression unless you INTENTIONALLY delete your character. If you delete something, why do you expect it to still be there?

1 답변Your cards represent experiences your character went through while playing. If the character is "killed" by deletion, those memories go with them. Makes sense.

This is ridiculous. On my Titan I'm 5425 and beat the raid with. I then today go to my hunter and beat the raid and get 3 of 4 siva. After the raid, the 3 siva grimoire points didn't go to titan. This is very annoying. Titan: 5425 Hunter: 5355 Lock: 5300 Very annoying.

1 답변When you delete a character you're asking the game to "forget" everything about them, so why are complaining that you're losing things for deleting a character?

2 답변So that explains why my grimore went down last night. I deleted all my year 1 exotics. HONESTLY BUNGIE ARE YOU -blam!-ING SERIOUS WITH THIS BULLSHIT! I SWEAR YOU INTENTIONALLY TRY TO PISS US OFF.

5 답변My grimoire score is different and I haven't deleted anyone. I think it's the SIVA clusters. They only count on one character.

I've also noticed that my grimoire score shows different values depending on which character I play. Also when I switch characters it will show all of the siva and khovostov grimoire card on the bottom of the screen as well as fwc rank ups. Weird part of the fwc thing is that I haven't been in fwc in months.
