I did tear up a little. This was very sentimental for me but for reasons outside of this game. My best friend and I played this game since the beta and loved it. Him and I played Halo 3 and Reach a lot so this was right up our alley. He was the only friend of mine with an Xbox one as well hence the only one I played with really. He was my brother. We had a hive mind of sorts when we joked around and hung out. Destiny allowed us to play together when we weren't at each other's places or doing some stupid shit. About a month after HoW dropped however, he was in a fatal car accident that completely turned my world upside down. Ever since then I've been battling depression and anxiety in fear that something can happen like this to me or my loved ones, especially being that I work with car collisions for a living. When Rise of Iron was announced and more gameplay arose, all I could think about was my friend, and how much he would have loved going on an adventure through TTK, and this as well. This expansion reminded me a lot of him for some reason; I can't exactly put my finger on it. But after getting the khvostov, which was his favorite weapon to use, it brought back a lot of memories. In some ways, I think the ghost in game represents to me the memory of my friend and will always continue to play in his memory. Edit: Thank you all so much for the support and kind words. I never thought this would get this kind of compassion on these forums, no offense. This means a lot to me and my friend would have been touched as well. This community is awesome and I am glad to be a part of it.

I almost got a little emotional, but it was hard to care when there was almost no character dialogue or building between "Guardian" and Ghost. Too bad apparently becoming a guardian makes you mute.

Made me realize he's more then just some AI

I held him out as he was talking watching the snow fall. Despite the chaos and everything else in destiny, it was a nice little love letter to all guardians whom our ghost shared our beginning with. It was very peaceful and all i could do is smile. Although the moment was ruined when i got charged off the cliff by my fellow kinsmen... lol

Me too... until the person I was playing it with made fun of the moment. Many controllers were thrown that day.
