Edit: to all of you brave men and woman who have served your country be it America or not. I want to thank you for all the sacrifices you've made. You are the true heroes!!!

I knew somebody close to my family who died in in 9/11, but I can give less shits about it now and give more shits for the people in countries like Syria who are having a hard time finding a new country. A lot of terrorist attacks happen in Syria in a year, but if a first world country is attacked by terrorists that is the only thing people talk about for a whole -blam!-ing month. I also always see other first world countries lighting up memorable buildings or monuments with another 1st world nations flag colors if there ever is an attack on that country, but when something happens in like Africa or the Middle East they can give less than two shits. I can admit, my generation is probably the worse one in a really, really, really long time and that we will just make everything a million times worse. I can also say that we need to give more shits on the countries that are poorer and need more help than us. So after all of this, we need to stop mourning about 9/11 and give more shits about the people who have been in life threatening situations for years in dangerous countries.

Before I start: yes it was a tragedy I wish the best for the families affected by 9/11 I lost a family friend in that (father who's wife was pregnant).
but I feel as if we are making this a way bigger deal then it is because it was an attack on america

think of how many other history changing tragedies/events have happened that only the ones who were affected directly mourn. When we won WW2 and decided to abuse every German citizen still alive, when other terrorist groups attacked countries

I don't mean to offend anyone but I feel as if the media try to make it such a big thing when other events have happened that were equally or worse.
Maybe it's just because I'm in Canada I don't know how it is in Europe.

작성자: moist nana 9/14/2016 3:16:42 PM15 years ago US government thought it'd be a good idea to de-stable the Middle East. That Evil Dictator you hate "Saddam Hussein" suppressed terrorism. Not a single terrorist attack happend in Bahgdad until you decided to kill him. The initial goal was to bring western democracy into a place that hates the west!? How dumb can you be. Americans died fighting Al Quida, now Al Quida are our allies!? Bigger problems like ISIS have emerged and America doesn't have the resources to started what they finished. Some Hero's killing friends and making the world worse off for everyone.

39 답변It's so sad to see what our youth has become. No respect for their fellow man because they think it's "cool" to run their mouths on something they know nothing about. Some of you may grow up and learn what honor and respect is. Others will have it beat into you. And then the ones who don't will be future trailer trash of America. Unfortunately it seems as though the history of our great nation falls on deaf ears with this generation.

36 답변I'm sorry, but when are we gonna stop dickriding 9/11 every single year? Seriously, it's been fifteen years, and the event is still being milked like a damn cow. I have nothing but sympathy for the victims of the attacks and their loved ones, but this is ridiculous. The people who lost loved ones that day are the only ones who have any real reason to still be mourning.

2 답변I took my 9 yr old son to a 9/11 memorial service this morning. They sang the national anthem and everyone stood. The pledge was said and everyone recited it with their hands on their heart. There are still places that remember this is a great country. It may not be perfect but theres no where else I would rather be. Thank you to all of those who put a uniform on and make sacrifices for the rest of us!
