How to upgrade Destiny Content to Xbox One
Hi all,
I bought Destiny: Limited Ed (Disc) on Xbox 360 when it first was released.
It came with the Season Pass giving me the DLC for The Dark Below and The House Of Wolves.
I then bought The Taken King Expansion through the Xbox Store (Digital).
I have recently purchased an Xbox One and can't figure out how I am to go about getting Destiny (with all 3 DLC I currently own) along with the new DLC Rise Of Iron on the Xbox One for me to continue playing.
I read somewhere if you were a day one customer you could get destiny download on Xbox One for free?
Went to go to download it in the Xbox Store but it is a trial only?
I have since uninstalled it but can't seem to find on the site a straightforward answer -
Does this essentially mean I am to fork out another $100.00+ again to get it all on Xbox One?

This bundle includes the base game, all three current DLCs and the RoI preorder for $60 USD. It sounds like you should qualify for Destiny - The Collection Upgrade, which is the same bundle but discounted for players that own Destiny and all DLC on a legacy console. This bundle is $40 USD. You should only be purchasing the RoI pre order if you already own Destiny and all DLC up to TTK for a current generation console. Additionally, Destiny: The Taken King only includes the current DLC, not the base game which is required. The base Destiny game is no longer available for digital purchase although the trial seems to get downloaded if you buy Destiny: The Taken King without owning the base game for your console. This is what seems to be causing many to get stuck in trial mode. <-- I realize you weren't really asking about this, this is for the benefit of others.
