The "In Times Of Need" shotgun needs to be completely removed from the game.
So, if you play Crucible, you've maybe managed to score you a legendary Shotgun, by the name of In Times of Need.
However, you probably dismantled it because it is the shittiest shotgun in the entire game. Like ever.
Here's why.
It has a low rate of fire. But it also has a low impact, AND range.
Meaning that it shoots slow as shit, it hits like shit, and the range is shit.
It's shit. I don't even know how it made it into the game.
I want to meet the developer who was like "Yeah, this is a nicely designed shotgun, the community is gonna love this thing."
In Times Of Need. The flavor text is all like [i]In Times of Need, pull this trigger[/i] or some shit.
But it reality, when you're in times of need, you'd be better off putting this shotgun away and getting another god damn gun out.
You may think I'm exaggerating about how bad it is, but it really is [i]that bad.[/i]
A very lousy rolled Hakke shotgun will outperform a God rolled In Times of Need.
I'm not even kidding.
When's the last time you were killed by this shitty shotgun?

Agreeded, however there are much worse things to get as a drop than this. Example turn in package 35 to shaxx. Gives me a cloak i already have 10 of, maybe a havic pigin, i call ot a waste of time and would love to tell shaxx. Hey, you been shot in yhe head too many times? Whats this? Yea wronge reward, lets do this we all were told how to do this. Would a uear 1 hc kill you? As of now my chance of this? Never ,im done being made a fool of Take your faction packs and waste fumb ass peoples time, not mine

I remember I got that gun very early on in TTK. I was excited to get a new shotgun but then I compared it to a Hakke shotgun I had. It had worse stats in every category, including Rof and Impact. I always thought that was impossible, I was wrong.

Well then it's name definitely attributes to its cause. If you are in need of something more powerful than your melee, then bam, out comes your shitty albeit only shotgun. Until you get a better one, which could take anywhere from days to weeks. Just a thought.

8 답변Ok I have to get this off my chest. It's about guns in destiny. I don't think you guys actually get it. For every weapon type, be it shotgun, fusion, scout. For each weapon type there is a set of stats that make up each one. Range, Impact, ROF, etc. Now for each stat there's only a specific range of values that will allow a weapon to be viable. Within that range you have at the top of the spectrum OP and at the bottom absolute trash. Now if all the weapons were at the OP or slightly below OP then all the weapons would be the same. Everyone is always yelling we want weapon diversity and at the same time want all the weapons to be good. I just wish people would realize that there is only a finite number of possibilities and I feel like Bungie has already pretty much maxed all of those possibilities out. I mean you basically already have guns now that are just the exact same guns from vanilla with a different skin. So that is how I feel about the guns in destiny. Glad I got that off my chest lol

I agree. Unfortunately my shaxx bounty give me a 335 in times of need. Complete garbage. But good infusion fuel. Any other time its basically 3 legendary marks. Which is why it's named what it is. When your short on marks, play crucible, win this gun and dismantle it and repeat.

The whole range of shotguns need to be addressed. What's the point in having the High Impact guns also have the highest possible range? This means almost every other shotgun is not a competitive option. Who is going to win Conspiracy Theory D Strongbow D Every time it's the Theory. Why? Higher impact at much greater range. It doesn't make sense Bungie plz
