hello everyone.
as you may know, this weekend is the last weekend of trials of osiris this month and for probably the next few months.
i understand that you want to get your weekly stomping in, and that you will want to play for the last time in months, too.
do take in to account, however, that many many players still have yet to see the lighthouse at all. still have yet to get their hands on any trials gear.
im not saying "look sweaties, dont play trials this weekend because this weekend is for the virgins". im saying that maybe this weekend isnt the best for elo farming or trying to set the record for longest win streak.
and before you ask, no im not one of the people who will be hitting up every streamer in the destiny directory's chat for a chance to go flawless because i have 17 lighthouse trips to my name. i want the virgins to see mercury this weekend and that is all.
thank you for reading.
edit: i somewhat knew this was coming.
for those of you saying no and that you will play trials normally if not more competitively this weekend, that is 351.34% fine. im in no position to tell you how to play a video game that you spent money on.
but, im not abandoning thread yet.
edit 2: been getting private messages asking for a carry. go away lol

1 답변I'm doing it for bounties like always. I'm not going to see the lighthouse unless I get carried.

3 답변I agree with what you say and it's a valid perspective. Having read most of the responses and opinions... Here is one from me. I made it to lighthouse in y1 in probably the 3rd or 4th week of ToO and that was just by chance. Carries wasn't too hot back then or at least it wasn't that mainstream. I got picked up by 2 randoms on LFG after I posted that I want an introduction to ToO and I am new to PvP. These peep just got the party chat going, told me about the pass/boons and bounties etc. Then we practiced a few rounds in normal crucible to see where we are and after that flew off to ToO. It took us 2 cards to go flawless (as we lost couple of matches) and I ended up in lighthouse with a crap adept hand cannon and some emblems/shaders. During this experience these guys told me about carries and streamers etc. I barely got 2 or 3 kills in the whole round and dew revives so it was technically a carry for me. They asked me to bring my other toons for repeating this carry. I said no as this doesn't feel right. We played some more crucible and left as friends. Since then, I have improved my PvP a lot (for my standards a kd of .2 now about 1). I am still a scrub so can't make it to lighthouse on my own. Last week I met 2 guys who could have almost took me to lighthouse but my game was better than y1. I got some kills and more revives and saved a few games too! But at the same time I lost a few too. I didn't want to let them down so left them after 5 wins as I thought they had a better chance with a better skilled player than me to go to the lighthouse. TL;DR. No matter what my scrub stats are, if I can't make it to the lighthouse the it is not for me. Just let the lucky ones or the skilled ones go. It's a game and getting an emblem/shader, gear, weapon that you can't get by urself won't make you a good player which isn't a bad thing. You are what you are. Not everyone is a winner 😀

3 답변Is it really the last week for trials until ROI comes out? I thought that would have been next week? or even the week after?

9 답변If anyone is up to giving a virgin a hand to the lighthouse send me a message. Best card is 5/3 and new to PvP. Check stats. Not that good. Xbox 1.

1 답변작성자: B3ar 9/2/2016 1:59:23 PMI actually took two guardians to their first flawless in y2 last week. Im not the best but those 2 guys were ready to take up the challenge. They followed my lead, team shot when necessary. One teammate was a .7 k/d and the other was I think a .89 maybe and none of them had a bad game on the card. They had their moments particularly on the flawless game (One kid self revived after a round we won to go up 4-1 Im not joking) -___-. Other teammate smashed too early when I said to wait for the opponent to pop blade. So as soon as he smashed, the other team popped blade and wiped us lol. But we managed to win 5-3. I may try again this weekend to help some people get those emblems. It was one of the most fun runs Ive had in awhile.

Nice post! I'm not a complete scrub, filthy casual or a sweaty hardcore player, but I like to run trials every now and then. I'm not great at it, but I have been collecting the non pariah gear just because I am a collector and I like the way it looks. I have to get 3 peices for my hunter and warlock to complete the sets. I'll be grinding ToO this week to get them. Here's hoping

1 답변I am so bad at 3v3 stuff. I am a 6v6 guy for the most part. Always liked scout rifles and a less aggreessive play style. I am getting better at sniping but nowhere near where I need to be to beat some of the really good players. I have mostly been playing with some randoms who send me a message in the reef. I really enjoy the intensity of it though.
