stop it, your making us hunters look bad
Why are all these people over crediting the titan? When warlocks do everything they can but better? Bungie likes to call titans the melee class when warlocks have the best melees in every aspect, from the range, to the lack of lunge Titans being the best at rushing is completely situational, if it's a long corridor or hall ways the Titan basically has the advantage. They cannot rush in the open, due to the exploitation of juggernaut, linear and predictable movement If they are rushing you, literally just move out of the way, I'm not even being a jerk, strafing sideways is a titans biggest weakness, they have almost no ways to turn properly And guess what? When they use shoulder charge to turn or garrison, you won, because they just waisted the shoulder charge Juggernaut is very weak too, just shoot under it if they are flying at you, and over it if you have the high ground. If they do get close, they have to still ready their weapon to shoot you, this is when you kill them
I will post this until the day I die... Shoulder charge is a high risk/high reward ability. There are many counters and it puts the striker in a very awkward and risky situation. Starting with the activation, a titan must keep sprinting meaning he can't shoot or throw grenades at anybody and he's got no extra armor leaving him completely vulnerable to you. Then during the animation the same stuff as said before happens. Now if he misses this means he's in a very bad situation but a good one for you. You will be able to easily take down a titan that misses his shoulder charge because he will have expected you to die and he will be stunned to see you alive. The best way to get them to use it and miss is to either back up, run away, or jump at the last second. The clean up the titan. Now for the counters. As stated before a titan attempting a shoulder charge is very vulnerable as he can't shoot, throw a grenade, and he doesn't have extra armor. This means you can use any method to take him down. Here are the main counters, primary weapon fire, shotgun, sniper spam or headshot, grenade, weaken then melee, heavy ammo if you have any, super, team shot, back up, run away, or dodge at the last second. Those are he basics to countering shoulder charge. Shoulder charge is actually one of the easiest abilities to counter. You can do all of those things and here's the key, pay attention. Striker aren't invisible on your radar. If they are coming in you can see the huge red blob on your radar or the enemy running straight at you. Also no one said you had to stay standing there, you can run as I said before. Now if you get shoulder charged because you were focused on another enemy and you couldn't pay attention and counter it, well here's the thing, you would've died to that enemy anyways. He would have killed you with a grenade, melee, special, primary, or super. The point is you would be dead anyways. -TFL Washington
Just because they have the most hp does not make them the tank class In overwatch, Lucio is much harder to kill than reaper, Lucio only has 200 hp while reaper has 250, but Lucio can recover health easily, this does not make him a tank simply because he can eat more bullets A true tank class is one who can consistently defend themselves or their team, without having to get a kill, such as using a large shield, projecting a temporary shield onto themselves or others so they may jump in the way for a teamate to defend from fire, or have high hp counts to use their mass or high hp to take damage for teamates Titans only have a small amount of extra health that hardly makes a difference in time to kill. Juggernaut it does not cement titan as a tank simply because it is easily exploited, cannot be used to take fire for a teamate (only in extreme cases), and cannot be place on a teamate.  Titans have ward of dawn that defends teamates from fire sure but it is also easily destroyed by other supers, and also is only used to control traffic (that is not a tank role). It can also be used to add over shields and extra damage, which is considered support. For example Lucio can give his team 800 health during his super in overwatch, but he is still the designated healer and not a tank Defenders still aren't the tank class, since force barrier requires you to get a kill to activate it, and cannot be used to defend your team, last time I checked, hunters and warlocks can regenerate health on melee kills, and sunsinger can also get an overshield, increased survivability does not make them tank classes. Defender defends his team by denying supers and having abilities to increase survivability, not by taking all the damage for his team and preventing it As for sunbreaker, no neutral game does not making for a very good class. might as well us stormcaller for a good roaming super. It's got a snipe melee, bolt nades, fast charging super and abilites, and the best roaming super in the game. More agile, easy to use, more effective, lasts longer, chains to others, and even allows you to blink. Titans and hunters need their respective buffs
