So These Snipers
Why have you not fixed these clearly broken sniper mechanics yet? They're completely ruining this games PvP. There's a [i]lot[/i] of stupid unbalance, but the Snipers shooting through flinch and dealing 90% health damage per bodyshot is completely absurd. Fix it. Now.

1 답변Sniper take skill to use there not something you can just pick up and do amazing. Neither are shotguns they require skill as well the player need to learn positioning and when to push and when not to. The range is a bit much. But what I'm trying to say is that everything in the game as a skill gap some more than the others.

2 답변I know. I shot a person in the head twice with a scout rifle, at medium range, and he still sniped me in the face. He either had unflinching, was a pro sniper, or sniper flinch isn't even a thing.[spoiler]I'm voting for that last one [/spoiler]

10 답변As someone who's best weapon on my hunter is a sniper (check my stats) I agree that snipers need to be changed. For me, I'd like Bungie to decrease AA and make every sniper have the same amount of AA. Also, I think that if you are ADS and start to get shot, the game should automatically make you de-scope. Though, the damage is fine where it is rn.

7 답변100% agree. Guy quick scoped me as I was shooting him in the face with Eyasluna, well within HC range. No way that should be possible. *Add actual flinch when getting shot (controller vibrates & target retinal moves, not just screen shake). The higher the impact on the gun shooting you, the more you flinch. *Add a healthy amount of sway (kicks in if you hardscope for more than 3 seconds) *Buff precision damage *Nerf body shot damage Problem solved.

Did trials for past 2 days, the amount of times people would hard scope in spawn was stupid, even came across 2 teams that hardscoped on their spawn, they didn't even jump down (oh well we had the zone lol) The second thing is that half the people seem to purposely go for the body shot then finish with primary, came across one team who would only do this, and then we won them they sent me a message calling me cancer lol. [spoiler]i also played a game of control on exodus blue, entire enemy team just camped...hard scoped...on exodus blue[/spoiler]

8 답변It is NOT completely ruining the PvP. Still perfectly playable. You just probably managed to get domed a few more times than normal. Not commenting on your skill. Just had a different experience. I still love the PvP and sniping doesn't bother me. Just realize it's not the same for everyone and may not need "fixing." Although I'm sure when RoI comes out, there will be a massive sniper nerf and they'll end up being slow hand cannons with a long barrel, sight, horrible accuracy and ridiculous recoil.

6 답변I find it strange that all these people complain about this and yet I somehow manage to have no issues outside of lag and unbalanced teams. Either you're all incapable of playing against snipers or you are just getting beat by better players. Sounds like personal problems either way.

3 답변I think if you engage a sniper and hit him with a headshot, regardless of what weapon type it is, it should de-scope the player and if you follow up with another headshot, then they will still remain de-scoped, so basically that's the risk they take, its either get the first shot away or the weapon can be made redundant in that one to one engagement. This way I believe you will see a lot less sniping and a lot of players having to use there primary more.
