So just discovered this router (netduma R1), wish i'd found it 2 years ago. It allows you to set how far away the host is and also set the ping limit. Annoying thing is I already have an expensive router and Destiny should already do this, but I have had enough of the laggy broken mess that is crucible, looks like this is the only answer as I don't think Bungie will ever fix it or just don't care? I've included TripleWRECKs review, for those of you interested. 23/08/2016 So I bought one tried it out for a couple of days and......sent it back, not worth the money IMO, it was interesting to see where the hosts are (all over the world) which is one of the reasons why the lag is so bad, but the router still couldn't solve the issue 100%, the lag was definitely better but very hit and miss and not worth £150 for playing 1 game, think I'll stick with my netgear. Also everything the router does the game SHOULD be doing in the first place, IE finding a good host and not using skill based matchmaking.
