Being forced to buy a PS4 or Xbox one is BS
Statistically there's more gamers on the PS3 or Xbox 360 that play Destiny then the PS4 or Xbox one n now Destiny wants to force their loyal players out there enjoyment of the game n spend more money on a new system n the add-ons, that's screwed up, n to differentiate legacy consoles to the newer consoles, hell if u ask me might as well call it discrimination to the gamer world.... Y'all need to back track n keep ur loyal gamers in the loop rather then force em to make money for u

Im afraid Bungie ain't going to ripe half the content out of ROI just to stay on last gen consoles. Technology moves on and Games get bigger ,so it's your choice what you do next. Isn't that how it's always been though? Eventually, PS3/Xbox360 won't be supported anymore & you'll be "forced" to buy new-gen consoles to buy games that will be supported on said consoles. Then the cycle repeats next gen, & so on & so on. I was forced to buy a WiiU because Nintendo doesn't support the Wii anymore. Same goes for buying a Wii because the GameCube was left behind. Same thing with the N64, SNES, NES, etc. While it sucks that last-gen is getting left behind, it's inevitable.

Incorrect. There are far more destiny players on current consoles than last gen. At E3 it was reported at approximately 90%. That may be a little inflated, but even with margin of error, current gen outnumbers legacy consoles tremendously. The 360 and PS3 are old consoles, and have had an amazing run for the past decade. However to continually improve the game we all enjoy, the consoles will have to improve and become more powerful. The choice becomes keep making games for a 10yr old console, which will have obvious limitations, or move to current gen and be able to push the limits on content. I will take the latter.

Not to sound too much like a dick, because I don't know everyones financial situations. But you can get an xbox one, for example, for Under 300 Dollars now. You could take 50 bucks a week out of your paycheck and put it aside and have a new system in 6 weeks. Isnt that better then coming on a forum and complaining?

The two consoles are also 10 years old, and are holding back many games. Also, TEN YEARS. TEN BLOODY YEARS TO SAVE UP. Guess what I did? I bought a PS4, shocking right? Hmm...should I buy the cheaper, albeit weaker and aging PS3/360 which will be forgotten soon, OR should I perhaps invest a bit extra, save here and there, and buy a brand new PS4 which is not only good looking, but also much more powerful? Ps3...100% ps3...NOT Oh, and quick edit: Destiny was meant for next gen only at first. So don't even start this train again, cuz we will nuke it from orbit.

1 답변Nobody's holding a gun to your head forcing an upgrade. Your not forced to do anything at all! Your playing on a system that's what 12 years old. It's time for an upgrade. Just be thankful you can still play on the legacy consoles at all. Ms and Sony both could've dropped their online service for both.

Sure Statistically there are more Last Gen gamers "who don't play Destiny", but the stats show more people who "do play Destiny" are on Current Gen and since this is a Destiny forum. =) For example my 7 year old Plays Ghost Busters on the 360, but he also doesn't play Destiny.

When you say statistically speaking, you should know that the real facts are more people are now playing on Xbox one and PS4. Bungie mentioned the statistics and determined that only about 15% is still on old gen consoles. But, I do think they should have at least waited until Destiny 2 to make the exclusive move.

you think you got screwed? I can't play Destiny on my Atari 5600. Where is my support? I think we need a class action lawsuit to get the game for our Atari 5600s we shouldn't have been left behind, this is discrimination.

Bungie isn't holding a knife to your throat forcing you to upgrade. They're adapting to the present environment of gaming - which, funnily enough, doesn't involve old gen consoles. So, [i]statistically[/i], roughly 99.9748% of this post is just pure shit built from false statistics.
