Message told me to 'remove bastets dream emblem'
After months of trying to get to lighthouse, realised that I needed a carry and got first lighthouse trip last weekend. With it came the Bastets Dream emblem. Have had the emblem on since then.
In a match of salvage (yesterdays daily), and got a spanking from a well drilled team. The rest of us were soloing it. I hold my hands up - I had a nightmare.
Post match got a message from an opponent saying "you must of got a carry. remove that emblem'. I didn't respond as I'd more than likely get myself banned. Are destiny players really that salty that they have to send messages like this, even when they win?
I used to draw hate using uni remote, now I can't even wear trials emblems without getting hate mail!

4 답변Did you get any kills in your flawless run? Revive a teammate? Play distraction or bait at any point? If you did any of these things, along with many other things that led you to contribute something to the matches, then you earned the right to use the emblem. -blam!- the haters, man, carry on doing your thing and use any emblem you want.

Since you did so, and apparently don't see what's wrong with that, I have no respect for you. Nor do I have any respect for your participation trophy brethren. My rule is, I will carry pretty much everyone (only single carries, not double, because I'm not [i]that[/i] good), because I believe everyone should see the Lighthouse at least once. But I will only carry if they agree not to wear the crown until they have been to Lighthouse without needing to be carried. Edit: the best part about this thread, is all but one person who has disagreed with me has never been to the Lighthouse. And the one person who disagreed with me who had been Flawless only disagreed with my arrogant attitude, not my actual statement. Edit 2: someone who actually earned flawless has finally disagreed with me! Thank you, Uofie, for being civil! Edit 3: so many "it's just a game" comments. I'm tired of replying the same thing to them all, so to any future commenters who are going to say that, think about it like this. Why should you act differently online than you do offline? Would you run around with an Olympic gold medal around your neck, acting as if it was yours? Or a Medal of Honor? Or even just the first place ribbon in a local track race? No, you wouldn't. Because you didn't earn them (just to be clear, I'm not saying these are the same value as a flawless emblem. In fact, just the opposite. My point is that getting a participation trophy in a low value activity is just as bad as a high value activity). Why should wearing an emblem that is supposed to signify crucible prowess when you didn't do anything to earn it be any different? Let life dictate how you play the game, not vice versa or completely separate. Edit 4: I copied and pasted! #TitanMasterRace

I don't wear my exotic emblem for that reason. I don't feel like I fully deserve it since my friends did most of the work to get me there. Also, yes, there are a lot of shitty people in this community. There are a lot of good people too though.

Wearing a flawless emblem or any other "hey, look at me, I did this" is very cheesy and laughable after the first two weeks that event dropped including raids. Saying all of the above, wear/equip whatever you want whenever you can. It's just a game, but know this, people will make fun of you (as they should) when you don't produce. It's like printing your own college degree when you didn't go there.

Ignore it. PvP doesn't matter anyways. People are toxic so I avoid it and just play enough Trials to get my gold package. I haven't tried going flawless since before TTK. In comparison the guns don't seem nearly as good as the ones from old. My Scholar and Messenger were monster inside and outside of Crucible. Miss elemental primaries :/

Played a game of salvage a while back all my team was randoms and the other team was wearing trials emblems, using the "meta" and were all in a fireteam, I ended up spanking them with an 8 kd and played the objective but I never sent them a message saying this noob stomped you, everyone can have a bad or really good game.

I went flawless once myself and got carried i think nine, i want to say nine, yeah i've been 10 times. At any rate, i don't value any of the things i got from it more or less based on whether i got carried or not, if someone else sees it differently i'm not losing sleep over it and as to getting hate mail, that seems really common in Destiny - i ran like 6 or 8 skirmish/salvage matches with friends last night and we got hate after half the matches, someone used thorn, someone was slide shotgunning, whatever it is you can't let it bother you, if someone else has salt that's their salt, let them keep it.

It's true .. Usually the people the wear the emblems got them from being carried .. The lighthouse isn't a place for great pvp players to get to anymore .. It's a place to win a twitch raffle and have 2 good players bring a bad one so they can wear a emblem and pretend they are good

Taking a shortcut and having people do the work for you? Or being proud of something you earned legitimately and seeing people get the same thing without putting the same work in?

Coach pulled me for 5 mins to gather myself and point out Afew things he saw My backup went in facing 4 shots in 5 mins and stopped all 4, I went back in and finished the game strong getting the win. The whole trouny all he played was 5 mins which he did his job. So when the weekend was over he also got a gold medal. You tell me, did he deserve it or not?

1 답변Even the 3rd string quarterback get a Super Bowl ring for winning the game even though he may never played a down all season. Who cares! It's a video game. I've gone 6-0 on our 9th win and I've gone 1-6 in our first match. Everyone has good days and bad. All you can do is try to learn from your mistakes and get better. At the end of the day NO ONE HERE will be remembered as the king of the Crucible when they pass on or quit playing. Wear your emblem if you want to. Ignore the toxic Internet warriors. Have Fun! And remember..... It's only a game!
