Here's the thing, if I paid for a carry (which I'll NEVER do unless I have a stupid amount of money) I would LITERALLY sit there and say nope I'm paying you to carry me, I wouldn't revive, shoot a bullet or move from my original spawn, id just spin in circles and say get em boys THATS A CARRY So if he so much as revived one person, shot one bullet, or distracted one enemy with his radar sig then he was helping, or as some call it "earning" it, he was trying his hardest, you guys were trying harder, I can tell you on my trips to the light house at the end of each match not all 3 of us are tied, usually one just dominates and the other 2 do okay or sometimes only 2 of us really show up to play, the thing is we're here as a team and sometimes members of the team don't do so well So again, if you even took 1 step forward and shot one bullet you earned it, everyone's just a fickle low life no life who has no merit outside of a fictitious digital world Wear the -blam!- out of it

- Did you get a kill during any of those matches? If so, then you earned that emblem. - Did you sit in a corner and only revive teammates? If so, then you earned that emblem. In each case you went flawless, so wear that emblem with pride. Think of it this way: The offensive linemen of the winning super bowl team also get super bowl rings even though they never touched the ball. Even the backup players who may not get into the game but instead sit on the sideline supporting their team also get super bowl rings. There's no shame in getting [b]carried[/b] to the lighthouse. [b]If you are part of the winning team, then you deserve to wear the emblem. Period.[/b] However, there is one scenario that I want to call out. If you had someone else recover your account and then go flawless by playing on your character for you, [b]then you did not "earn" your emblem[/b]. You should still feel free to wear the emblem, it's yours after all (you may have even "paid" for it). But next time go for the carry instead of the account recovery. It's much more fun, trust me. ;-)

So i got a carry and during my carry there where game where i had top kd, clutched a few rounds even got ace. Was it a carry even tho i contributed just as much as my team. Was even told I didn't need a carry just a good team. So does that still mean i didnt earn it?

Anyone with a trials emblem who goes negative in any PVP matches I am in will get an automatic report for cheating and a message saying that they don't deserve that emblem. Any hateful reponses back will land then a report on Xbox live for a communications ban. People who go negative with any trials emblem have been carried.

You got carried. Therfore, you did not earn the crown. Therfore, you should not wear the crown. It's pretty simple. Since you did so, and apparently don't see what's wrong with that, I have no respect for you. Nor do I have any respect for your participation trophy brethren. My rule is, I will carry pretty much everyone (only single carries, not double, because I'm not [i]that[/i] good), because I believe everyone should see the Lighthouse at least once. But I will only carry if they agree not to wear the crown until they have been to Lighthouse without needing to be carried. Edit: the best part about this thread, is all but one person who has disagreed with me has never been to the Lighthouse. And the one person who disagreed with me who had been Flawless only disagreed with my arrogant attitude, not my actual statement. I'm tired of replying the same thing to them all, so to any future commenters who are going to say that, think about it like this. Why should you act differently online than you do offline? Would you run around with an Olympic gold medal around your neck, acting as if it was yours? Or a Medal of Honor? Or even just the first place ribbon in a local track race? No, you wouldn't. Because you didn't earn them (just to be clear, I'm not saying these are the same value as a flawless emblem. In fact, just the opposite. My point is that getting a participation trophy in a low value activity is just as bad as a high value activity). Why should wearing an emblem that is supposed to signify crucible prowess when you didn't do anything to earn it be any different? Edit 6: seems there is some confusion as to at what point it becomes a carry. Short answer is, if you are hindering your team (such as performing very poorly, or camping in the back of the map, or just killing yourself) more than you are helping, then you are being carried. It is hard to verbally define a carry, but it becomes obvious in game whether you are being carried or not. #TitanMasterRace

Considering most people who have lighthouse emblems /more than 1 lighthouse visits are A-streamers B- purchased light house carries ( same thing as donating to a channel for a carry ) C- latency manipulation E- no job neck beard ( more than likely also has a fedora) Most casual players (myself included ) don't have the time or patience to find a decent team and slog through 45+ rounds of sniper/tlw Edit* Apparently some people got upset that I didn't include a fourth category So there it is
