Which I have nothing against. If you want to defend yourself and/or family with a gun, then do it. As long as your clean and stable.
Yeah we have the right regaudless of others opinion on the matter or despite the facts and stats that say you're more likely to shoot someone that lives in your house than someone breaking in...but that's the country we live in...but for real we need some new laws to punish parents of kids who shoot themselves...but that's just my thoughts...
Tho each day kids kill themselves or siblings with aboultly no punishment to the parents at all in fact they STILL get to keep their guns...Sorry but imo if your kids dies because you can't take care if your guns you shouldn't be walking the streets let alone get to keep the weapon...but again all my personal thoughts...
And yes I've seen this first hand as a friend of mines kid shot himself in the -blam!-ing head with a hand gun that was left loaded safty off on the coffee table...the dad wasn't even arrested...

needless to say we are not friends anymore...
My father always keeps his gun in his safe. I do the same. I do believe everyone should be required to have firearms safety training as well as self defense training before being allowed to own one. For me, it's common to keep your guns locked up unloaded, but a mag close. Also keep them out of reach of children.
Sorry about your former friend's son, he should have been held accountable.
I agree and thank you and thank you again for being responsible with your guns...tho I personally do not own guns...(used to have a bad drinking problem and figured id shoot myself or worse someone else) I'm not against people owning them...
