As you may or may not not know, thorn is returning in ROI, are you salty about this? I'm personally fine with it as long as it's not as powerful as it was in the HoW meta. If you have any opinions on the topic please post them below.

As of yet, no. It depends entirely on what gets done for it's foray into Y3. If it gets reworked (again) to be an absolute monster in PvP without other weapons bring buffed to compensate, I'll hate it. If not, then I may go against my values and use it.

3 답변I'm fine, AS LONG AS THEY DO NOT BUFF IT PVP-WISE. It's fine where it is there. However, it does need a pve buff for the damage over time.

1 답변I never used Thorn in year 1 as my 0.88 KD will verify. I'm thinking it will be nerfed into mediocrity like basically every other gun has once ROI arrives. I used Mida in year 1 to try and handle the Thorn. The HROF pulses will be able to compete at range. I'd like to see Thorn come back as strong as ever, see buffs to both ARs and shotguns. Then you might see some balance and Thorn won't be the meta. It will be good, but so will Suros and Two to the Morgue.

1 답변People will all use it, bungie will nerf it to the ground because people can't have anything good without abusing the living hell out of it

Honestly, not at all. I hated both the Thorn and Ghorn back in year one just because of how overused they were. Even though both are returning, I have a feeling they'll both have much less of a bite than back in the day.

10 답변작성자: Rush 8/3/2016 5:30:55 PMI don't mind them bringing Thorn back but, as its the only "Damage-Over-Time" weapon of its kind, I think its Light level should be capped at Wrath of the Machine's normal difficulty (most likely 360). That way it still has a place in Crucible, but its DOT is offset by weapons capable of being infused to 385 damage.

7 답변1. It's nothing like it was before. 2. There will be a way to negate the DoT. 3. I personally like the gun and wouldn't even mind if it was buffed back to its HoW Era state. 4.Since there will now be a way to negate DoT, they should bring back the original VF, with a slight difference, being more damage per tic, less tics.
