I really dont know what relevance bringing back thorn has to the Rise of Iron's story. It's a annoying handcannon that was first wielded by a guardian turned killer, then by thousands of people who needed a crutch to compete in the crucible instead of finding their own way to victory. I'll accept that for some reason the thorn is coming back, but it was, is, and always will be a weapon for the unskilled lowlifes of the crucible.

Lol as far as I can see, everyone has still been doing fine without their "crutch" in year two...kinda makes you think they didn't need it to be good? Just used it because it was fun to use and wrecked shit. It's a shame you take a video game so seriously man

But please hear me, that term has long been a derogatory slur for handicapped individuals. As someone who had to walk with a cane for several years, I heard it directed toward me more than a few times. And on each occasion, I wanted to drop the cane, break their jaw, pick them up and spike them into a fire hydrant before breaking the cane off in their asshole.

If you tell me I'm a scrub for using XYZ gun, I want to be the scrubbiest scrub from Scrubtopia. I am a simple man with simple tastes after all.

As opposed to (deep breath) Last Word, Hawksaw, Mida, Doctrine of Passing, Felwinters Lie, Party Crasher, Conspiracy Theory, 1000 yard stare, and several other guns that people normally use or complain about because of its effectiveness in the current meta. Don't complain about something because of it being used as intended. All of these other weapons get constant bad reps because of how often they are used in Crucible. Thorn is just the one people like to complain about most, even after rebalancing several times.

1 답변Even without the DoT it's a pretty solid HC, decent stats and perks. People like you who never learned how to counter one are the only problem here. A gun is only as powerful as the guardian wielding it.

I like the lore of the gun and it's ok in pve, back during crota I used it because I carried people and usually they sucked with timing of rockets so I would fire it t9 keep shield down. It fires tint thorns which is cool and it looks cool too.

Or it was an amazing looking gun with one of the better stories. And cool effects like actually shooting thorns. I could literally call every gun in the game a crutch and just melee people but in reality every gun in this game is more or less unique this is not cod where some guns are just op and they can be nerfed so easily so get over it bud

1 답변I'm going to use thorn all time. Do you know why? Everything I've enjoyed about the game as been took away from me because of cry babies getting everything nerfed. Nerfs have been annoying since day one. Finally get my revenge. It's going to be fun.

Why is using a one shot head magnet sniper rifle any harder than using a two or three shot thorn? I believe that snipers have broken the game more than thorn did in its heyday. Back when trails first started I saw way more weapon diversity in the thorn meta then this current one. Granted I don't have a lot of experience in there as I've only gone in to help friends farm coins and do bounties with people off the forums with no headset. But this is just what I've noticed.

I made a point of not using it in year one , and used it once on my 1st trials run ( it was not upgraded , I was only light level 32 i think , and none of my team used miles. We got 9-0 without boons.. ahhh good times ) I'm looking forward using it in pvp and rly looking forward to pve Edit : there's an artifact that reduces DOT. use that if u want ya triggered nub
