Petition to keep Thorn out of Year 3
There are rumors that it's coming back. So as a precaution, I'm making this.
Seriously.
Sign it.
*Update*
If you're a sub 1 KD we all know why you want it back. The main question I have is why should the top 1% of the community put up with scrubs running around with a historically broken gun that takes literally no skill to use. Since I'm seeing that many responders and critics of taking the gun out of the game have the K/Ds of cows that are firing goat blasters into the air, I'll just go ahead and skip your posts. Thanks!

Ppl using it now in regular crucible. I'm only an average player at best and I'm winning 1 on 1 everything with average weapons. Why do ppl think it's an issue? Yr3 only makes it more viable in trials and ib. Unless they actually buff it, which I can't see happening, it won't go far....

4 답변Just bring it back the gun is not a threat right now unless you're bad & there is an artifact that counters it in yr 3 making thorn obsolete unless yr 3 thorn gets buffed. Oh cool off topic but i just saw an artifact to counter panic supers.

I was totally against Thorn in Y1 and it was EXTREMELY hard to counter. You either hard to be using The Last Word, Red Death, The Messenger (Adept), or a Thorn yourself. I'm actually pretty excited to see it make a comeback. Besides, with an [b]Artifact[/b] that now exists that decreases Damage-Over-Time effects and the nerf that already exists, I don't think there is anything to worry about. The community is really just bitching about something that they haven't even experienced. That's like the community asking for Bungie to nerf Khvostov. Like, stfu. We don't even know how powerful any of these weapons are going to be, come Rise Of Iron.

the gun was broken in TDB/HoW era but other than bad memories, thorn is just as balanced as the last word (maybe even more so). thorn requires at least 1 headshot and 2 body to kill just like hawkmoon (although thorn kills [i]slightly[/i] faster). so other than a few milliseconds faster ttk and poison on your screen that isn't that hard to get used to, thorn is fine.

They balanced it pretty well in the last update, so I'm not sure what you're complaining about. It can't two shot anymore in my experience, even with the burn. And if it does two shot, you have low armor, that's your fault, I can also two shot with my First Curse in that situation. Besides, if you're gonna complain then waste your artifact slot to lower burn DoT, that'll solve your "problem".

As well if the top 1%'ers cant counter the Thorn then they deserve to get shot by it. Seeing your Running Universal Remote and Last word has it any different? Because they take skill to use? Please.
