A Destiny Player Died Today
Young Alec aka Nitrocses, was suffering from cancer. He was a member of the clan Mr Fruits Fruit Smooth79. On his YouTube channel he made some destiny videos as well as vlogs:

Alec and Syndicate met each other at E3 2016.
Alec wanted his channel to have gameplay videos and stories about his cancer treatment. Those few videos he made are filled with comments from people who are saddened by what has happened. I am glad to see he is in a better place. It isn't just my loss. It is the community's.

Edit: wether or not you are leaving some dumb joke in the comments we can all agree cancer sucks. I also did not personally know him, but I found his channel through syndicate's video and I was inspired.
Edit: if you don't care that's perfectly ok. No one is forcing you to be sorry.
Edit: I am sorry if you feel that I only made this just to get attention. I was inspired by his story. I made this post out of respect. Not greed.

Cancer is an asshole and a punk bitch and if cancer is a female then she is the biggest -blam!- ever. I hate that bitch and I wish he/she would die and leave us alone. Seriously, f.u.c.k cancer. My grandmother was originally a breast cancer survivor and my mother almost lost to liposarcoma. However, the truth is that one rarely takes any comfort in the death of a friend or loved one.

14 답변Hate to be a downer here but people die everyday. How is this any different? So what if he died from cancer and so what if he was a youtuber? He's just another person lying in a grave. Mourn for him if you want but I don't come on these forums to read more depressing shit. If I wanted to do that I'd watch the news (and for comedy Fox News). There was no point in coming on the forums to post this. It's just another "Someone died, better announce it!" (or as most call it an attention seeking) post.

I do not agree however that it has nothing to do with Destiny. While it is true that thousands die everyday, we should at least try to care when someone in this community passes away; even if they aren't a member of these forums. We're all sharing this experience; not just this game, but this life. Nationality, sexuality, race, gender, mental and physical health, financial security, social status, religious preference, age, strength, intelligence, and habits have nothing to do with it. Life has to do with it. Regardless of what anyone thinks, we are all brothers and sisters of Earth. We all shall this life together and we are all victim of the human condition. [b]Personal acquaintance should not be required for at least a small amount of empathy towards our fellow man. This is a community, we should at the very least pretend to care.[I] Doing otherwise is a failure towards the human race.[/I][/b]
