Do you guys remember frickin cross map shotty felwinters lie? How about .9 second kill time vex mythoclast? Orr two tap cross map hip fire last word?? Two tap tracking thornnnn??? Freakin 1.2 second kill time Surous regime??? Cross map evaporating fusion rifles??? Final round sniper????Anyone? Anyone?? Guess I'm just old fashioned but 99 percent of the "Op" complaints are unjustified. I've seen op. True year one players, what weapons did I miss?
Edit: my numbers are not correct lol the kill times were actually lower I think but I don't know exactly. My point for the post was that people now complain about op stuff but they have no idea of the year one powerhouse weapons. For all those who posted correct kill times, seriously thanks!
Edit 2: a lot of love from the year one guardians that remember the good (and scary) times of year on pvp. Again I apologize for my incorrect ttk on weapons. Apparently a lot of people are butt hurt about that.
Vex was a 4-5 shot (pre nerf)
Surous was also roughly 6 shots (pre nerf)
Last word could 2 tap at any range. You do the math if you want the exact ttk.

2 답변God, I hated final round snipers so much. In year 1 trials it was like every single person literally had Efrideet's Spear w/ Final Round. And you could tell they were prepping it by hearing 2 sniper shots in the background as soon as the match started. Other things I remember are: Shot Package (This is the main reason why people got sniped w/ shotguns, you had to have been at least 20m away before the buckshot actually spread) Bladedancers using Arcbolt Grenade w/ Thorn (The grenade would do 122 damage & then people could just hit you once with Thorn LITERALLY ANYWHERE on your body & you'd be dead) Hopscotch Pilgrim w/ Headseeker & Reactive Reload (If you hit someone while those 2 perks were active, you could do 153 damage in a 3-shot burst to the head. 153 DAMAGE IN A SINGLE BURST.)

2 답변작성자: SamSu916 7/29/2016 11:12:01 PMThose kill time you pointed out are VERY slow. 0.9 seconds and 1.2 seconds? Really? That's slower than today's standards. Also I'd like to point out just because Y1 had MORE OP weapons does not mean Y2 doesn't have "real" OP weapons(it's just not as OP). The definition "OP" means more powerful than the rest in its respective class or overall in general. So what happens if a Y2 weapon was more powerful than everything in its class? It becomes the new "OP". That OP can be REAL OP compared to the current versions of certain weapons, TLW was notably one of them before all the recent changes to it.

5 답변You know what's weird? I didn't rage in Year 1 when I was killed by a Mythoclast or Last Word. They were so rare that it didn't come up as much. Thorn though, that was annoying. The reason was that you couldn't get behind cover to heal up. Even if you won the fight, you'll burn to death.

38 답변작성자: Synge_X 7/29/2016 7:52:27 PMSniper rifles in year 2 are more OP than anything in year 1. Everything in the game revolves around, using, dealing with, avoiding, or strategizing against snipers. EVERYTHING, even PVE. Two out of three bosses in KF revolve around sniping, it is arguable that even the Oryx fight is dependent on sniping your knight. In year one even a good thorn user could be countered by another good red death or TLW user. Yes, you can kill a shitty sniper in year two with a decent scout rifle, but if you run up against a good sniper, the only counter is sniping itself(and being good at it). Year two players know very well the concept "overpowered", in relation to destiny. In year two, most likely year two players have it easier because they just came in and assumed that they would have to learn how to snipe to survive. Year 1 players have to unlearn the concept of being able to counter overpowered weapons.
