Actually Had Fun This IB
I was expecting a tough grind to get my characters to rank 5 on Monday night. When I logged in, I saw two clan members in fireteam. I asked what they were up to, and they were going into IB, so I joined up. We played a couple of matches, until one of them had to leave to pick up a pizza (the two are roommates). While the remaining clan mate and I were in tower, I got messaged by another friend asking to do nightfall.
When I said we were doing IB, he joined up. At the same time, a raid team member logged in and joined up as well. So the four of us went into IB, until the other friend left (he was playing while riding his exercise bike, presumably had to go shower). My clan mate had his nephew play with us for a match, then his nephew left, and the pizza had arrived, so he left as well.
I saw another friend playing IB alone, so invited him (he's friends with the raid teammate), and he and my raid friend went back into IB. A few matches later, my raid buddy said he was rank 5 and done, and called it a night. I played a few more until my remaining friend said he was calling it a night as well. Through these matches I got my hunter and warlock to rank 5. I changed to my titan, and got ready for the grind (hadn't played my titan at all to that point). Another raid teammate logged in and joined me. She was working on getting her brother's character up to rank 5. So we went into IB and played a bunch of matches, until she was done and switched to her warlock (she had already gotten her hunter to rank 5). We played until we were both done.
Basically it was a fun night, playing with six different friends, some of whom knew each other, some who didn't. A nice cycle of people joining and leaving, but it was a fun time. And for some reason (maybe there was always someone in fireteam belonging to a lower skill bracket), there were only a couple of miserable matches- almost all were competitive and fun. And only a couple seemed really laggy.
Didn't get any great rewards, but this was fun because of the fight to win close matches, to find a common nemesis on the other team, to make clutch plays and great zone defenses, and record clips of our great (or funny moments). Was a nice way to end the (Iron Banner) week.

1 답변I wish I did, I mean I really wish I did. There was a few games that were great but.. My friend that I have played with for 10 years is never really one to rage at a game, but did he rage hard this IB. It sucks because the reason was the SBMM, I am an above average player, he is a smart tactical player whose reflexes have slowed down with age. When games go like this most of the time: Me: 1.5 k/d Him: .5 k/d That is infuriating for him. That's not fun to hear from him "I am dead weight to you." So we had to play solo. His games were alot better when he left me.

2 답변Kool story Bro. Seriously though every ib is like that for me, that's why I love it so much.... Which is weird as I used to hate pvp. I'm in no way great at pvp (kd is around 0.8 I think) but in ib I seem to get top a lot..... Think it's coz I like control though and play the objectives with a friend. is good with the drops popping at any time now, nor must past lvl3.

3 답변I had a blast this banner idk why it was so fun, I paced each character 2 rank 5 and enjoyed matches after. The weapon drops were slightly well we all know...... But after 14 hr on the last night of IB I pulled a short gaze waylorn! Hype

1 답변I had fun thr first few days but as usual after that not so fun most of the time. Why the normal red bar connections, laggers, cheaters, normal bullshit that comes with IB, and bungies insistence on prioritizing SBMM over all else.

1 답변Glad you enjoyed yourself. I did as well. I hope us Legacy holdouts get one more Banner before Bungie throws our sorry butts out onto the iceberg and cuts us loose, but if we don't... well, it was a good ending. The drop gremlins were kind to me this time out, it seems. I have lots of primary guns in the 330's, and all three of my Guardians now have their prize exotics at 334. And most of my best armor exotics are powered up as well.

1 답변Instead of having to grind I just complete my bounties once a day and the weekly bounties. Then go hit rank 3 and about a quarter. Wait for Monday and turn in all the bounties. This should guarantee rank 5. I'm sure many others do the same.

It will always be hilarious when people try to challenge you inside your bubble But my Stormcaller kicked ass. I just started using those double melee gloves! I ignored them for months!! They're incredible! (Storm grenades feel secretly nerfed tho... maybe it's just me)

3 답변This should face been the 4th IB I played,but I didn't go over level 2(didn't felt like grinding,I'm already a 335,so it was mostly for fun) but it was great,I recently got my Touch of Malice and me and some friends decided to try it out,it's a great risk/reward scheme(the bullet that uses your life deals a lot of damage,but it damages you,making it even easier for your opponent to kill you) Regardless,it was fun(and I even got 2 gauntlets in less than 5 matches!)

8 답변This was my third IB. I always have had fun playing it. Personally, I play Destiny more than any other game. I am a year 1 (Xbox One) player and started on the PS4 this past December. I have enjoyed this game. I don't like all the nerfs and buffing.

8 답변IB is always fun....agree that after 7 days I've had my fill though. Second time around on my second profile, finally had a few good weapons, used a sidearm almost the entire week and did pretty well with it.....it's vastly different playing on characters that are not 100% leveled, rag tag armor and Intellect/Dis/Str. Not 100%, but still fun.

12 답변This was my first ib I didn't enjoy. It felt like a mayham to me. Everyone had supers up really fast it seemed. I got hulk smashed by the same titan like six times in one game. I feel like I got killed more by supers then anything else.
