A guardian lost his mother this morning
This morning my mother passed away of complications with from a recent surgery. I know many of you will question why I'm coming here to talk about this, but I'm really just seeking comfort wherever I can get it at the moment. In the last year and a half I've lost my father, step mother and now my mom. Do me a favor guardians and tell your parents you love them. Call them every day if you can because you never know when they'll be gone.

There can be a lot of comfort found in the community of friends made here. There are some surprisingly caring people who play video games. I've been an 'orphan' now for many years, and still wish I could talk to my parents. Hold them in your memories.... their suffering is over. Our grief shows how much we love them.

Lost my only sibling when he was 20 in 05 and lost my Mother to cancer 3 years ago. I feel your pain and it's tough. You're right, enjoy your time with family and loved ones, you never know when the timer will go off. I'm not a religious person and believe everything is random with no underlying plans or meaning. Some would ask why believe something so bleak, but to me it makes me view life with a sense of wonder and excitement and reverence. Isn't that what it's all about?

I feel you man. I lost my father unexpectedly this past January. It's really hard to cope with sometimes. Keep your head up and filter out any negativity in your life for now. Ignore the trolls on this forum especially. Just think of how they would want to to continue on without them and focus on that. Good luck guardian.
