Does anyone else agree that the reward system in Destiny needs fixing? (PLEASE READ FIRST)
Alright, since some of you aren't getting it, I'll edit this so it's just the basics, since so many of you are complaining about length.
So I played a round of Iron Banner, happy to see that it came back. I played, got to the top of the game, and stayed there to the end. I was sort of proud of how well I did. So I go to the rewards screen, and I get nothing. Two guys that did an alright job got really powerful gear, and some extras. Aside from the rewards guaranteed to the winners (Marks and Sterling Treasure), I got nothing at all.
Now, I know a lot of people don't get it. "What, were you expecting all the rewards? My god, quit whining, you self-absorbed wanker." No, I never said that, I don't know where you're getting that conclusion from.
My problem was that I got literally nothing. I'd have been happy with even a single Strange Coin or a single Mote of Light, or even an Armor Shader that I'd most likely discard. Believe it or not, I'm actually completely content with getting what most would consider crap. My problem is the fact that I got nothing, that the RNG allows such a thing to be a possibility for any unfortunate soul who plays his best and expects maybe a humble reward.
You see, when I go into a game, I expect to have fun and come back with something that doesn't make it feel like a complete waste of time. It wasn't too much fun, and despite the guaranteed rewards, I came back with nothing.
So many of you don't understand that, and I still don't know why. Instead, I get a few mature comments from a few mature people, but then I get the entire Morton Salt Factory dumped on my thread by some of the most toxic people that have ever existed on a single video game.

Last night I jumped on one of, probably, the very first games this iron banner. Game 1 finished and the top guy got a legendary and there were a few blues handed out. I got my sterling treasure. Game 2 everyone on my side got a legendary bar me who got squat. I was playing okay going positive in both matches. I played 5 more games. Had one legendary drop of less value than I had equipped, a blue and a strange coin. My performances got worse and worse over the seven games because we were playing very proficient teams and I was getting tired. In one game I came bottom. I got nothing (didn't deserve anything) but neither did the top guy but the four in the middle all got legendary gear. It's RNG at its finest. Now I'm rubbish in PvP but even I'd like to be rewarded for my good games whilst accepting I deserve nothing for my bad. I did at least get two exotics from using five three of coins so I guess that's decent.

3 답변Too many crucible games where at the end the Party Crasher +1 has escaped me. Never have gotten one in Y1 or Y2. And have seen plenty of below/above me get it. Rip my luck

My friends and I were playing challenge of elders (which me and one of my friends play it all the time and never get exotics) and my other friend who was in his first time in challenge got a lord of wolves! He did like 5% of the work no joke this system is insane. That same guy got a grasp of Malok on his first nightfall too (which me and that fist friend play all the time and never get the grasp)

1 답변Definitely. It's been a while since I've tried to be not shitty, which has made me more shitty, so the first match of ib I played, with one kill and a .04 kd or something, and I got a 335 sniper. Now, I'm not complaining. That would be dumb. But it sure as -blam!-ing hell isn't fair to the guy on the top of the list that didn't get anything at all. The rewards should be favored towards better players, with less remarkable participation rewards like motes and coins to players like me, who can't even stay alive for more than two seconds.

1 답변Simple put, they want us to play destiny, but if that's the case at least honor the time we put in with some type of reward. It doesn't need to be Godly but at least make us feel like we didn't waste 10 minutes. Sure we get rep, however when you see everyone else get at least a shitty blue it's disheartening. Especially if your on top.

Yes the reward system needs to fixed asap. I believe another major update needs to happen before Rise of iron. First, Destiny takes a lot of time to play. That's PVP and PVE plus raids. Strike rewards must be better. If you are going to play strikes for hours and hours and do not get exotics or legendaries; I feel like you have wasted your time. I know the game must be challenging, but the loot system has to be changed to reward the hard work put in. PVP rewards need improvement and raid rewards need to be improved by at least 5% or more on certain items and weapons. So that eventually you will raid and you not get that weapon but know you have the chance of getting that item of weapon.

1 답변작성자: SamSu916 7/20/2016 5:38:47 AMI think the top 3 places should be guaranteed a rare/motes/strange coins or better. Yes, 100% guaranteed. However this does not mean that they're guaranteed to godly drops, just that they're guaranteed to drops. Places 4~6 however don't have a guarantee but have the same chance of receiving a godly drop(a very low rate) like everyone else so that it doesn't really affect them negatively. Affecting them negatively will only encourage leaves so we'll do best to avoid that.

6 답변Loot system is fine. Everyone gets lucky and unlucky. On a side note, your edits say that salty people are raiding your thread, but when you reply to anyone who disagrees slightly, you reply in very childish ways that implies you are salty.

1 답변작성자: Erijian 7/20/2016 5:15:27 AMPersonally I think first place should [b]almost[/b] guarantee a Legendary-quality item, while second and third should have increased chances. Something like first = 2.0x, second = 1.66x, and third = 1.33x would work out. Maybe have some guaranteed motes or strange coins as well for the top three just in case RNG hates 'em.

1 답변It's not just drop rates, but also quality. Why am I still getting legendaries dropping <300? Bungie needs a d3 style fix.

2 답변Take it up with bungie lol, I think pandering over the fact that you didn't get a reward for 1st place is silly. Everyone knows that this is an rng loot based game, would it be nice to get a little something? Sure! But complaining about it won't help, bungie isn't going to change the fundamentals of their game, they just aren't. Imo iron banner gives out a lot of loot as of now anyways, not much to complain about.

2 답변Dude I feel ur pain... so many times I've had those rare kickbutt games and got squat... I got 334 nirwens mercy today and the 335 sniper Iron Banner is giving out and wasn't even level 2 yet. While I appreciate the gifts by bungee... getting stiffed on being the game LEADER is gooooo wrong. Iron Banner should give out a unique gift to ONLY the game leaders. Everyone else should get motes if light or lower legendary stuff. Maybe relic iron or spinmetal should be rewarded after every crucible game no matter what everyone gets something usefull... but getting stiffed... JUST SUX.

I feel your pain. but call me an ass but your KD is still .70. just saying, I'm not great myself, but I don't hop on the forums and bitch every game I'm on top and get nothing. it'd be different if this was coming from a 1.1+ KD player. 2 답변3 sniper rifles, 2 boots in one evening, most these were earned in top 3 spot. The game is made so anyone can win something, it's a fun factor to keep people interested in playing. You eventuality get something at level 3 and 5.
