In April, Bungie said they weren't touching Viking Funeral because it would ruin the class...
Then they touched it and ruined the class. As of now, Viking Funeral is useless. Also, this burn "bug" hurts the class even more. It's been what, a month now? I think that it was an intended nerf.
Sunsingers aren't dead, but their neutral game took a huge hit. Since their neutral game is also their super game, their super game took a hard hit too.
This spoiler is what I think about the classes currently.

Firebolt, viking funeral, touch of flame was to much for us and everyone knew it. Bungie did the right thing as sunsingers still can get a double nade and one ready every spawn if they choose to wear the voidfang vestments.

I am very happy about the heavy nerf, now I don't have to feel forced to play a certain class when in competitive situations. I always hated the "why aren't you running Sunsinger. Firebolts and self res dude" being a voidwalker main.

I didn't particularly care about the hit to the burn. I thought the DPS bonus would be cool. It only lasts for 2 seconds and gives a tiny bonus. Then I saw how Solar Grenades now do less DPS, damge ticks don't stack from multiple Grenades and are just all round trash. I don't see myself using it unless for the Self-rez utility for Raids.

you got hit hard solar grenades i just walk threw them and res kill on a warlock way to easy now i use to love sun breakers and solar grenades but now i am back on my striker titan until that get's hit bungie sure do know how to suck the fun out of a ounce fun game

4 답변You know what happened, they didn't want to nerf it, but the community wanted it to be nerfed. Bungie then listened to the community. Now people are crying because it got nerfed?

5 답변I was one of those people who thought it needed a nerf. So, did I want it nerfed? Absolutely. But did I want sunsingers to take a huge hit? Nope, definitely not. I feel like if they hadn't changed the perk itself and only nerfed how much damage the burn did, it would've been fine. My opinion on Firebolt grenades with the burn effects that it would put out, in tandem with Viking funeral and the other perk (forgot the name), were way too much for how easy it was to use. Something like the old firebolts shouldn't be as effective if it's going to be that easy to use. And they were definitely the go-to grenade for Sunsingers. What I mean by that is it seemed like it was very rare for people to use either of the other grenades in the class. I don't feel like there should be one ability to dominate them all, I feel like they should all be equally effective. But now almost no one uses Firebolts, so some buffing adjustments clearly need to be made.

Gunslinger vs Striker neutrals show what an absolute brick licker you are, thank Jebus you're not balancing the classes, you have NO IDEA, grass munching imbecile. Warlock fire game/advantage was severely OP as it was, hell I enjoyed buggering about with it, nerf was much needed, justified, and the game is much better for it now. Cry some more that your only class has a reduced clutch, you might actually have to use a weapon.

7 답변Viking funeral is way better in pve now I've mained a voidwalker since day 1 and am glad about the changes it makes wearing the sunbreakers and running radiant skin in pve tons of fun
