Xur's 100th visit Is on August 5th This year
On august 5th Xur Will be making has 100th visit to the tower and hopefully sell some super rare exotic gear

I don't think Bungie cares enough to do something big to Mark Xur's 100th visit to the tower. Last I heard they were still hiding behind the 'Xur is RNG' argument and that they had no control over him even though we have seen Bungie manipulate him in the past.
