BEFORE YOU READ, I HAVE BEEN TO THE LIGHTHOUSE OVER 20 TIMES, CHECK MY STATS. THIS IS ABOUT THE COMMUNITY, NOT ME. ATTACK ALL YOU WANT. DEAF EARS ;)
This is not an original suggestion. Many have suggested before. Of course we know the suggestion could be circumvented. Two measures can fix it.
- Only one lighthouse trip per character, per week (max of 3 trips).
- To prevent carrier streamers from resetting cards before a flawless, make it to where the fire team must have ALIGNED CARDS. That way the system can't be circumvented. What I mean by this is, if wins on cards on the fire team do not match, then you cannot enter the activity..
Another fix could be a tier system as many suggest.
The "carry" or even the steamer carry has completely taken over ToO and it's just dumb. It's become so ridiculous that the community actually has this weekly thread (this is indicative of a PROBLEM)
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/208558104/0/0
Regardless of steamers or just insane keyboard and mouse players with a massive advantage over those using a controller, there are people in Destiny who play trials merely to keep others out. You want to talk about bad for the game? Cure this cancer.
For the "git gud" and "KD matters" people
Trials is supposed to be competitive, and in it's current state it is NOT competitive for the upper skill tiers. Therefore, it is not competitive for lower tiers because they can't compete. What's ironic is that the elitist PvP players always say " playing tough opponents makes you better," yet they have no desire to play people on thier level in most cases. They jsut want to stomp casuals and feel superior. If they actually face an opponent of thier skill level, they complain that it's too hard and that they're mad lol. Total hypocrisy
.
Like and bump if you agree.
Another thread on the matter:

8 답변No I stream and I couldn't help some bad players to the lighthouse?Just ridiculous I'm over here trying to help others and your over here let's get rid of every streamer in destiny basically.I'm here to help others when I stream not help myself then quit I love helping and its fun to me so no this is a terrible idea.

2 답변I just wouldn't agree with the cards having to be the same. Bungie is awful with disconnects.
-
1 답변No they need to implement strict skill based matchmaking for trials. The skill gap between bronze and diamond is so great that bronze and silver tier players are better off just not playing.
-
9 답변I think you might mean only one card per character. As far as I know you can only open the chest after claiming ultimate victory once a week. Streamers helping people seems like less of a problem than teams of 3 flawless guardians just trying to shut out others. At least someone gets to go with streamers. And for the record they would also have to lock pve content the same way. You couldn't help friends with their raid or nightfall. Seems like more harm than good if you actually think it would do any good. I do not.

Streamers would loose their minds if they can only run through trials once. The idea of being placed in a different "league" once you do flawless, to where you just play against other players who have already been flawless is not a bad idea. That way flawless players would be playing against other flawless players for practice. The ELO farm of three wins then getting a new card just so they can play easier teams is a joke. It just gives them fake numbers.
-
I think a compromise would be good. If you've gone flawless, you get matched against other flawless. If you go flawless against this select group, the rewards should be commensurate with the achievement. You should even get an exotic emblem that is unique for that achievement. Even though I will never be able to accomplish such a feat, I think it would even merit an entirely unique weapon drop - maybe even a primary with burn.
-
You can only go to the lighthouse once per character. If you mean that you can only do one trials run per character, then this is an absurd request. But if you mean one run per account, then it is still absurd. If I want to play trials for fun with my friends after I've gone flawless, I should be able to do that.

2 답변People worried about others getting carried to the lighthouse and I'm still here pissed about the armor drop system. Couldn't leave it like it was on year 1 so you had a chance to get every piece, nooooooooooo. Gotta make it RNG so you get screwed over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again by their shitty system. Every time I run trials it's the same shit. Hunter: legs/chest, watering star. Titan: arms/legs, watering star. Dafuq outta here.

작성자: Vrchue 7/12/2016 4:51:21 AMWait so you don't want players helping other players get the lighthouse? Wow you're selfish, my friends are sweating their balls off to carry players who haven't been to the lighthouse and your gonna take that away from them. You can handle a team of 1.3, 1.2, and .98 but you can't handle a team of 3.2, 0.6, and .08.

1 답변I think allow multiple lighthouse trips, but have a flawless playlist where you go into after you have already gone flawless, in this playlist you only play other flawless people. Provide rewards to match. think of the easy raid, and hard raid. you progress to hard trials after completing easy trials. easy rewards are 10 light less than hard rewards.
-
I think it would be cool if, after getting to the lighthouse, you can go back into trials and only play others who have been to the lighthouse. If you go flawless again, I think you'd deserve a second drop from the lighthouse chest as well.

1 답변I think this is what medals for participating have done to kids. Now every one expect to be a winner. And people can't stand being told they are a loser or not good enough. Don't wish it was easier. Wish you were better. In addition. I'm ok with your suggestion but only if they allow every one, one passage and one only. No resets no constant tickets over and over until the people you consider better than you have already been knocked out.

23 답변작성자: xXDreadnautXx 7/11/2016 10:31:55 PMYeah seriously it's already enough trials no lives think they're superior with their high target aquisition sniper rifles and wambo combos with their friends who play every week and it's a struggle to even find other good people like there's nothing elite about having too much time on your hands
