    Void fangs aren't that bad honestly. In a small map anything can be annoying. 3-6 GG : GG for days, Tripmines/swarm grenades for days. Throwing knives for days 3-6 BD: Skip grenades/arc bolt grenades for days, Blink, Invis, BD for days 3-6 SC: Storm callers for days, Melees for days 3-6 BB: Bubbles for days, Suppresion grenades for days, Overshield for days 3-6NS: Tethers for days, wombo combo for days, shadestep for days 3-6 SS: Fusion grenades for days, radiant skin for days.

  • I agree that multiple of any class can be frustrating, my only point was that they extensive burn time wasn't an issue only in trials. My worst experience was going up against a team of 3 in Rift, (all of which had legendary elos) spamming firebolts. I literally could not leave spawn without getting tagged. It was crazy. There were different ways they could have changed the grenade. Problem is the neutered it.

    Hmm but if there was only one SS in a 6v6 match, would you say the burn was a problem? The thing about the burn is that it was meant for controlling the map as in a support. People don't rush in because they're burning. Hmm see that experience could be attributed to them just being good at this game, any good player will know how to make the best out of their subclass. One experience I had was, there was about 4-6 GG, they had tripmines everywhere, and once they popped their GG they'd just chain supers. I couldn't go 1 minutes without hearing a GG go off. I agree they neutered the hell out of the grenade, the entire class actually.

  • Don't disagree, they were good, but this would be a compable strategy, even for an average player. Firebolts had an EXTREMELY low skill gap for the power they provided. Bungie seems to either overbuff or overnerf. Sunsinger needs a buff now.

  • i would argue that skip and lightning grenades is the low skill grenades. a grenade that follows for approximently 14 seconds and a grenades which does instant damage over a huge area with no damage drop off. firebolts was beginning to be weak in its later time. nearly all hunters ran shadestep to cancel tracking from grenades. which for warlocks is near all grenades.

    Skip grenades are easy to use as well yes. Lightning grenades are much more situational though. The cone does feel a bit large at times, I agree. Firebolts provided everything you wanted in a grenade though, unlike skip, it could tag 3 orenemies, and unlikely lightning grenades it could be place just about anywhere without loosing its effectiveness.

    I wouldn't necessarily say there was a low skill gap. You'd be surprised how many people are terrible at SS. Thats why they weren't the most used class. I've encountered teams of 3 SS. Some were easy as hell to kill because they sucked, others were beast because they knew how to use them. But yes, bungie does seem to overbuff or overnerf, and they need a buff.
