I am a week one destiny player. I hadn't heard of the game until a couple of days after it came out and my friend said that I should get it. I'm glad I did because it is my favorite video game. Vanilla destiny was the most fun I've ever had on destiny, and it is the most fun I have ever had with a video game ever. I miss year one. :(

I started on Xbox One in 2014 and stopped playing for a while. I bought a PS4 last December, and have been playing since. I really liked the Taken King dlc. I played it at a friend's house and really liked the story. Year 1 players know that the voice of the ghost was a whole lot better. "We've awoken the hive" does not sound the same with the new voice. Bungie killed the ghost when they switched.

Started HoW left shortly after april update due to shit RNG and crappy loot. moved to the division and currently drowning in high end loot, more than I know what to do with even had to start 3 new toons to free up stash space lol. divison is how a loot based shooter should be in regards to loot drops, players can even re-roll to get god roll weapons, destinty still has a long way to go in regards to how loot is distributed to ever make me think about yr2 destiny.

I dabble in 1st person shooters (played the OG Doom and Quake, really like Half-Life - never played battlefield or CoD) - plus I was an early adopter of the PS4. I was aware of the game, but I wasn't invested in the hype at all. Given the dearth of games at the start, I made sure to get into the Alpha to: 1.) Get a game to play, and 2.) See if i really wanted to play this game. Really enjoyed the game from the Alpha, and continued on since.
