So I got reported today in trials...
I was doing a double carry like I usually do in the weekends, I saw we matched against some guys (never played against them before) and while we were flying in one of them sent me a message "nice lag switch" We were all green barring at that moment and the whole game, no lag at all.
After we won them 5-0 one of them sent me a message "reported"
After last weekend my reputation on XB1 lowered after double trials carries, even though I did not teabag, I did not send them any messages, only played the game like how it's supposed to.
Couple of people on my friendlist who all are highly skilled have also gotten their reputation to go down, just because people get salty after they lose and report them.
Always blaming the other team for "cheating" or "lagswitching" most people dont even know what lag switch is...
This really isnt problem until your rep goes down to a "avoid this player" it makes impossible to find a game in crucible, I saw this happen to two of my french friends on XB1 and well they both mainly play pvp so it sucked for them not being able to play it for a while (there's a way to get past that luckily)
But yeah don't be a dick and report every good player that dominates you. Also got a message from enforcement.xbox.com that said I have been reported so many times my gamertag got investigated but since I had done nothing wrong they did not take any action ♡ (though my rep went down from all the negative feedback)
Has anyone here ever reported anyone for being highly skilled? (Positive reporting)
Edit: if someone is really good and nice to you remember to report them for being friendly or highly skilled, it appears that they get gifts and stuff from postmaster if they get enough positive feedback :)

I own both consoles so I will preface this by saying this is not a slam on one console, however the whole rep system on Xbox has become a weapon for poor losers. I've had many people on my friends list have to start new accounts because they were pushed into the 'avoid me' rep by people who cannot accept they were outplayed and report them. I've seen it way more in Halo and CoD where there is 'competitive' modes, but Trials is another category where immature people will use a terrible system to hurt skilled players.

Well thats bush league. I bet if you were carrying the other team they wouldn't have said anything but, since you weren't they reported you for it. That just bs. Im on xb1 if you want I can report you for being friendly and highly skilled if that helps.

I do not send hate mail. I don't accuse of cheating. A bad connection is likely just that; a bad connection. But I don't want my game experience to be lowered due to a bad connection, or bad attitudes. However, I also report (positively) people that are helpful and skilled. People that play objectives. People that are pleasant and nice. So it works both ways.

This isn't a Destiny problem. Xbox needs to get rid of their stupid ass system that does that shit. And not trying to be an asshole but you really shouldn't give a shit on a visual "opinion" on how people see/think about you.

Yeah my rep also went down for doing -blam!- all. I get the same messages too all the time. Well done Microsoft, you're actually worse than Bungie! Banning the decent players who don't violate the CoC, then letting those who do get away with it!? Seems fair to me. If my rep goes down again I will strongly consider buying a ps4, Microsoft seem to want to drive people away.

작성자: TTVNooNooASR 7/5/2016 11:56:50 AMHeya buddy played you a few weeks back and I know your a really good player matched ended 5-3 to you I think great match tho but I'm aware your on the Xbox one leaderboard and the sad thing is if you beat people they get salty because no one likes losing right but on PlayStation I've received no less than 9 bans for cheating when in reality I was just stoping teams with a few of my close friends moral of the story is people suck and are salty about it but if you ever want someone to carry with hit me up NooNooGoesRawww on Xbox and twitch good luck buddy and don't let the salty kids get to you

Is a Player good in Strikes, plays the objective? Helpful. Did I get a nice message about my gear, my playstyle? Friendly. Did I get defeated in the Crucible by a superior player using an effective tactic? Highly skilled. Likewise I report players for misbehavior, for example when Players do not play the objective in a Strike. Unhelpful. Did a User quit the S.A.B.E.R. Strike on Heroic? Quitting. My behavior stems from the Xbox 360 Report System, where you could report players as Good or Bad Players, and the Xbox tried to connect you more often with Players who you deemed as "Good" rather than with those who were "Bad". Since you often play with different, random Players it's all about that first impression. Of course many Players do not think like I do, and unfortunately such systems tend to get abused due to human feelings like rage and general disappointment (of course it's annoying getting killed by the same person over and over again, I get that, been through it lots of times). But I know I make a difference for myself when reporting Players, especially within Destiny. Keep up the good work! [spoiler]I could use a Carry some day.[/spoiler]

When I look at you stats I believe you must have some serious skill! I do report laggy people as well but I don't believe in that everybody is lagswitching. I think it's mostly just bad connections.

That sucks, even though I'm not highly skilled I had a good game and got reported for lag switching too. People are ignorant and can't take a loss. Btw, could you carry me on the weekend? Would highly appreciate it. Can carry my own weight.

Yeah holy shit that kd. I'm really bad. I do never give positive feedback I think it's just to difficult to do so on the xbox. But also have never given negative feedback thanks to people stomping me, and it happens a lot 😊😂
