I was doing a double carry like I usually do in the weekends, I saw we matched against some guys (never played against them before) and while we were flying in one of them sent me a message "nice lag switch" We were all green barring at that moment and the whole game, no lag at all.
After we won them 5-0 one of them sent me a message "reported"
After last weekend my reputation on XB1 lowered after double trials carries, even though I did not teabag, I did not send them any messages, only played the game like how it's supposed to.
Couple of people on my friendlist who all are highly skilled have also gotten their reputation to go down, just because people get salty after they lose and report them.
Always blaming the other team for "cheating" or "lagswitching" most people dont even know what lag switch is...
This really isnt problem until your rep goes down to a "avoid this player" it makes impossible to find a game in crucible, I saw this happen to two of my french friends on XB1 and well they both mainly play pvp so it sucked for them not being able to play it for a while (there's a way to get past that luckily)
But yeah don't be a dick and report every good player that dominates you. Also got a message from enforcement.xbox.com that said I have been reported so many times my gamertag got investigated but since I had done nothing wrong they did not take any action ♡ (though my rep went down from all the negative feedback)
Has anyone here ever reported anyone for being highly skilled? (Positive reporting)
Edit: if someone is really good and nice to you remember to report them for being friendly or highly skilled, it appears that they get gifts and stuff from postmaster if they get enough positive feedback :)

작성자: Xenomorph 7/6/2016 1:50:35 AMYeah... I've watched your stream mate, and you're just good. There was one game where it stuttered even for you, and you called it out that something happened to you. It's one thing to report someone for a bad connection (but even then I believe in most cases the connection is bad because of the poor netcode), but reporting them because you got beaten legit is just how some of this community copes. Sad but true. Keep up the good work man. Plus, as you're in Finland, if Bungie wants to connect you to someone overseas, then that's not your fault.

I can see where you are coming from totally, like, the report button is there ... TO REPORT ACTUAL CHEATERS, not people who are actually really good at it. I just avoid trials like the plague, cause there's no point in me trying, I know I suck, and I don't like being carried, I like being able to help the team. (Reply your thoughts)

I'm on Ps4 and when I get spanked by a legit team I always report them highly skilled. I'm not the best by any means but I do mostly play above what my stats say. It took me forever to learn this games mechanics. All I'm saying is just because you lose after spanking multiple teams does not equate to them having to be cheating cause you lost.

7 답변작성자: fated_pein 7/5/2016 4:22:42 PMIf i see someone red bar and lag, not just a red bar but they noticeably lag, I will report them through Xbox and destiny, I don't enjoy losing to someone who I literally can't kill because they are a teleporting titan with a shotgun. I don't care if your rep goes down as long as I and my friends don't have to deal with it I am happy, also I am pretty sure I played you and was on my 9th win, I could be wrong but I'm gonna look and check. brb. Edit: yes it was, I am the one who reported you, along with my brother and friend who was with me.

4 답변Can everyone just take a breath and understand that this last patch messed the game up so bad that everyone is lagging all the time now? I mean, I thought about it last night when every single game had shitty connections, no damage to certain players, etc... All of those players can't be cheating. I'm sure some are. But you can usually tell. Bungie are taking zero responsibility for this disastrous patch, in the wake of their rise of iron reveal. But it's true. The lag in matchmaking since that patch has been ridiculous. I can't stand to even play it.

1 답변This is why I don't like Trials of Osiris. Its Winner-take-all format and emphasis on going undefeated is just a septic breeding ground for this kind of toxicity. You've got a lot of kids who are getting thrown into the worst kind of competitive environment...with no guidance (or enforced limits) on how to deal with those competitive emotions.... ...or the disappointment of losing... ..in a responsible manner.

There are a lot of salty scrubs out there but if you are being mass reported it is because of your connection. You may not personally realize it but I'd bet any amount of money that you are lagging frequently. Often happens to foreign players with great internet but they are matching in the Americas and the connection quality just isn't as good.

I can tell when a person is lag-switching or just bad connection. If they are literally killing you too easily, but they are invincible, it's a lag switch. If they cant hit the broad side of a barn and you kill them every time, it's just a bad connection.

I report players that are obviously cheating. I also report players for being skillful and helpful. I have also been sent messages accusing me of cheating or just plain harsh messages because they got outplayed. People tend to get really really salty when it comes to trials. I'm sorry that happened to you. I'll give you some positive feedback.

2 답변I have reported people as being highly skilled or friendly or anything positive. I only report red bars who are red bar all game long and on top. If they are bottom dwellers, I don't report them. Unnecessarily reporting people should amount the user to get banned for a week. That'll teach em

I've seen this guy play and he is extremely good without the salt and is so calm about everything. I don't know him personally but he is Finnish and that may cause some latency issues but I haven't seen it in hundreds of games. Does it happen? Sure. Intentional? No. Give this guy a break, he is a nice guy who wrecks people in PvP regularly and is humble about it. There aren't too many who do.
