IMO: Bungie should do something about players that bought TTK and want to continue on current gen.
I personally already have a ps4, though I no longer play Destiny.
I do however have several friends that also have a ps4, however all their Destiny stuff is on last gen (they mostly bought TTK at September and then got their ps4's around Christmas time. As it is right now though, they would have to re-purchase TTK, or buy the legendary edition of Destiny that includes all the DLC up til now.
I do not think this is really fair as these people have payed the same price as everyone else for their content, but if they want to continue playing they would have to pay double what other players would have to pay($30 for Taken King, $30 for Rise of Iron). $60 to play any expansion is just asking too much.
Please, Bungie, if you read this there is something that needs to be done or you will lost some players that are actually faithful to you and your game.
Edit: I love all the morons who immediately came in here with the "Lol Poor Kids" argument. Just goes to show you didn't read.
Second off, the price isn't the problem, it's the principle of the matter. You should never have to re-purchase content you already own just to continue playing the game and that is why the people I mentioned above are refusing to continue on with Destiny as much as they would love to keep playing.
Finally, I guess I should have know better to seek support on a site that constantly mocks anyone of lesser fortune. I mean Christ, this is the community that gave shit to the guy that got Fate of all Fools from Bungie after having brain surgery. Speaking of, those that are crying "entitled" make me laugh my ass off, the hypocrisy is real on this site. Destiny players are probably the most entitled crybabies there are, but when someone ask for a bit of fair treatment as a fellow fan/player all you people can think to do is take a shit on them.
No wonder this game is going to shit and the Devs can't figure out what to do. Shitty community=shitty game I guess.
