Year 1 players will remember hearing this.
Who else misses hearing this when loading up Destiny? It should be brought back, I'm kinda getting tried of hearing TTK's title music tbh.

1 답변I reckon it should alternate. Like every second time you load up the game it would be the original music/theme.

I think the music from bungie halo is much better than anything in destiny. The halo theme, covenant dance, brothers in arms, on a pale horse, a walk in the woods, in amber clad, a lament for private jenkins (the first flood level... AWESOMENESS), and more. Hell, halo reach was good too. Oni sword base theme, and lone wolf from one of the original trailers. Halo music with the original crew always had these drum lines. I know there are examples in the music of destiny but I don't find myself looking for destiny soundtrack info on youtube like I used to when I still played halo. I really don't feel an attachment to any of the music from destiny, even the original title screen music. That is just me though.

1 답변Oh, the nostalgia. I agree with you, they should bring that music back and they should also bring back the Y1 orbit music. I always loved that stuff.

Most of you guys make it sound like its an awful piece when it's clearly not. The theme and most of the music is general is fine. It's thematically fitting, just like how the original theme was thematically fitting for the time. It's just where Destiny is at right now. It just irks me that people seem to be hating of the TTK themes for no real reason beyond nostalgia for the original themes, despite some legit reasons that have been stated. Besides, you guys can't honestly tell me that Regicide and Last Stand are not good. Hearing those themes playing when fighting Oryx both in the story and in the Raid are freaking awesome. That said, I will always have a special place in my heart for the Gate Lord/Undying Mind theme. Just love the way that theme starts up and then gets going into the main part of it. Just awesome Come Rise of Iron, there will be another thematically appropriate theme in place of the current one I'm sure, one that will represent the heroic nature of the Iron Lords and Lord Saladin most likely, which I'm sure will be awesome. I'm not saying you guys can't like the Year 1 theme over the Year 2 theme. It's an awesome theme and even I miss it sometimes (though not as much as most because I can still hear it, along with the old orbit themes, through the PS4 Destiny theme) and everybody has different tastes, but I'm just saying don't discount the Year 2 one. It's still an awesome theme in its own right. I will be laughing however, if in a year's time from today, there is another thread made similar to this one that has a "Remember this from Year 2?" title and the TTK theme and possibly the original theme will be there and most everyone will be all like, "Man I miss these themes, ROI theme SUCKS!" or "Older themes were better!" or whatever. Just saying, it could happen.

Love this title music. So mesmerizing and really defined everyone's fascination with Destiny. Kinda gave me the feeling of the unknown with plenty to discover. That being said, I don't mind TTK music! Especially when you're battling Oryx in Regicide or the Raid. Absolutely epic. Ultimately, I feel like they should blend year one with year two soundtracks so you're not getting the same music over and over. I think that'd be awesome, but that's just me. :)

1 답변It be great if bungie rebooted this game, dropped every single patch and let us raid VoG and try our hardest to hit level 30 again. Oh the good ol days when destiny was a real game.... what a shame. All I know is I'm not going to be buying Bungies next title, not even sure if I'll be getting the new dlc. This game has gone down the drain since HoW.

3 답변So I truly enjoy the year one title menu theme more than the Taken King's, but my favorite soundtrack from both years is either between "Remembrance" or "Last Stand".

1 답변I really liked the one theme with piano and a girl singing but I haven't heard it in a long time. I'm pretty sure it was a TTK song so idk why I haven't heard it lately.
