So bungie always wants to stress the competition side of trials so here is a great idea...
For the next trials i.e. Rise of Iron dlc
It should be setup in a tier system for instance 7 separate tiers.
Once you go flawless one time on your account you hit tier 1 and all your future games are against tier 1. When you hit flawless again you go tier 2 and play only fireteams with a tier 2 player. This would go all the way to 7 tiers you know cause bungie loves 7!
Imagine watching the fireteams battle out in tier 7. This also helps the masses with having a legitimate chance of actually reaching the lighthouse with their friends without having to hope for carry from a raffle.
I forgot to add an important point someone pointed out, yes this would reset with every weekly reset just as everything else does ;)
Another note worthy idea to stop the carries from happening with people manipulating the system would be that the fireteam has to have the same card i.e. Same amount of wins and boons applied
I'd also like to add that this could actually solve the SBMM issue too by going to connection based because the tier systems is already taking the SBMM into account

4 답변How about there's me who has gone flawless 0 times this week, because I dont put boons on! And I carry two people who use boons and get them easy flawless, when I get 7 wins I just discard the pass and take new people to carry. Yeah this would be the dream of every twitch carrier...

1 답변I feel like there should be an increase in the gap between tiers. Anyone can have a friend thats good carry them, but they may only be able to have that friend carry them say 6 times. Now that player is in tier 6 and wants to run with his tier 2 buddys, but hes in tier 6 because of the 6 carries and now him and his fireteam cant go flawless.

3 답변Whats your suggestion when 1 player is tier 1 and another player is tier 6? How matchmaking would work then? Or does it mean that only people with the same tier can play together?

5 답변Why do I feel that you actually want this so it'll be easier for those lower skilled players to go flawless?

3 답변You do understand there are teams who play soley to keep average players out, right? This would destroy their lives. And no I don't see any changes on bungie's behalf and that's fine. As this is suppose to be competitive.

작성자: SmashYaBox87 6/28/2016 1:01:11 AMBungie need to configure their networking - balancing, nerfing, buffing all this shit is wonderful if everyone is playing within a well connected match, where shots register & Titans don't have blink; last night in ToO we had number of matches where the latency measured 400+ms which is BS; playing people with potato internet on a canoe somewhere off Madagascar, UAE & China

3 답변Two points. One: It would lock friends out of playing with another friend if they were in a different tier. Two: If you had been carried into Tier 1 then you are stuck in Tier 1 and probably are going to get merc-ed on. Simple solution for point two though. Don't get carried, yet it will cause another issue of people being unable to go to the lighthouse because if they do then they will be forced into the next tier and oh look time to get merc-ed for wanting to visit the lighthouse.

2 답변This is a good idea but only potential problem I see with this is one you get into the mid/higher tiers people will be waiting forever for a match

2 답변I haven't been to the lighthouse yet, and I don't really try that hard to get there. I just play trials with friends. But imo this is an OK idea but I wouldn't want to see it implemented because it takes away the competition and the challenge to go to the lighthouse. Good idea though

4 답변And how would this system deal with fireteams that have different tiered players? People won't be happy if they can't play with friends because of a ranking system.
