I don't understand. It seems as though every forum topic is "Nerf this. Nerf that"
It's kinda getting irritating seeing nerf posts after nerf posts. It's a game (unbalanced yes, but name an fps that doesn't have imbalance?) And should be treated as such, not a way of life. If a battle doesn't go your way, accept that you just lost to someone who was either better than you, or just played better than you did during that one encounter.
Nerfing everything has literally turned this game into a slow, boring special weapon fest to the point that now it's abilities that people are calling for nerfs on. It's ridiculous.
Now the new thing seems to be shoulder charge. That has literally stayed the same way since launch without a single word associated with it other than something fun to use and annoying to be killed by, but never OP. Now that everything is slow as shit, primaries suck, and special ammo isn't the easiest to hold onto, now it's abilities that needs the nerf hammer next?
Get a grip. Everything that you lose to isn't broken.
Broken things in destiny's past?
Pocket infinity
Vex
Maybe Felwinters (MAYBE but only in the case of shot package)
Suros (Vanilla, also questionable)
Thorn
TLW (Only cause of ADS glitch)
Sunbreaker at ttk launch
Bladedancer in y1 maybe?
Blink was a little stupid in y1 too.
And some of those are questionable too.
Everything else has literally been fine. The nerf posts have to stop. As irritating as getting crossed mapped by a thorn was, crucible was fast paced and it was actually fun.
How bout we start buffing things..?
Edit: Spelling
Edit 2: I'm seeing alot of replies about hit detection (or lack thereof), lagging, red bars that hit you and you can't hit them, dying through walls and what not. Yes those all contribute to the horrible experience that is Destiny pvp right now, but that's not what I'm referring to. My post is directed towards those that claim that everything that killed them is obviously better than what they have and should be brought to the ground, rather than bringing other options up to speed.
Yes I believe primaries are extremely weak (Except scouts. And HC's are too inconsistent), I think all need buffs, whether that be to damage, range, or to the registration of bullets. But what I am saying is that this constant cycle of Dying>run to forums>spend 15 min typing a great Wall of China in text about how OP something is (especially when it's not) has completely changed the way the game is played.
Completely. This game is no longer a moderately fast paced shooter similar to a Halo-type gameplay. It's slow. It's hardscope-filled because primaries are shooting pellets instead of bullets, and special ammo is thin so people camp with their snipers and wait for more special to spawn. Primaries are last resort guns now. Primaries
This is only my personal opinion obviously but the game is starting to become very boring. And with each update I feel as though my guardians just get weaker and weaker.
Yes I know. For god's sake I'm aware the netcode, the lack of dedicated servers, and hit detection in this game is an absolute atrocity. I'm talking about when you lose to something, it doesn't make it overpowered. It means you lost. That's that. Figure out the problem and adapt. It's like counterplay is some sort of ancient lost art that's unable to be grasped by anyone that plays Destiny (With the way the forums look atleast)
Dammit. I wrote my own great Wall of China... not that it'll help but here and there I do make a rant post lol. Forgive me.
Everyone is handed a trophy for participating, and it's bad for people to tell a child they aren't good at something. I suck at PvP. I know I do, and I don't complain when I lose. Unfortunately this generation doesn't feel that way, and demands everything be catered to them.

take a tip from the WishYouLuckk handbook. if someone kills you its a result of: A. They are using an OP class/weapon/ability. reguardless if your using the same thing its wrong for them to do so. B. Blame lag/servers/coding. C. Blame teammates for not being close enough, or far enough, or on the same map as you. D. NEVER take responsibility for your own death. its ALWAYS someone/some thing elses fault.

I agree. Peoplw complain about snipers, yet snipers when zoomed cannot see map and snipers rarely got more than 3 spots per game and are easily encountered. Shotgun as well, seeing as they can be killed from distance. Doctrine, tjey need to get up close first. And so on.

I have a friend who can't take being outplayed. Whenever he gets killed by something, he just says "NERF!". One time i was talking to him about the throwing knife nerfs, and he was like "IT DESERVED ONE" He even thinks Voidwalker is overpowered. He is 15 too.

I get outplayed often in Crucible because my reflexes aren't as fast as the person killing. Sometimes, they are and other times, they're not. It happens. I expect to die. It's a game where people with guns shoot and kill you. You're gonna die regardless.

Outplayed? You mean like this? Yeah sure sometimes, maybe most of the time people get outplayed. But it's far too often that gunfights end in trades or losses because of lag.

3 답변I'm one of the few who will actually message the top person on the opposing team with a gg on a loss, lol. But lately I've been having throwing knives hit someone's face, make the noise, and just.. Disappear. I'll complain about those deaths until the cows come home. :(

I don't even play anymore, lol. I tried some PoE and did a bunch of strikes not too long ago, but -blam!- doing PvP. I'm not even that bad at PvP, but I'm just tired of trying to play against people who stopped treating it like a game. I'm tired of crazy snipers and hardcore players thinking they need to prove something. It stopped feeling like a game and started feeling like a tournament. Back to Dark Souls.

5 답변I think someone else on the forum made the point that instead of nerfing strong things into the ground, weak things should be buffed to the same level - thus maintaining balance and not ruining the fun. You know how I used to use Shadestep? It was an evasion tactic in PvE. It was great for dodging fire, recovering a bit of shield then getting back in the fight. I sucked eith it in Crucible, but i preferred a stand-up fight anyway. Now, because of nerf-whiners, my preferred tactic won't work as intended, and i have to play differently. People will tell me to "git gud" (because that's a mature response) and yes, I should adapt. I am attempting to. But i shouldnt be forced to play in a fashion i dont want to just because a bunch of dicks spammed shadestep too much.

People have a hard time accepting responsibility for their actions, not all people that is. Even if it means they ate a barrel full of lead, it couldn't have been their fault because, well that button presses to fast, along with that gun firing. They figure if they get everything nerfed to the point where you are playing a paraplegic, hell, they must be bound to win!
