Now.... why are dregs immune to being taken? Does oryx not like dregs.
Now there are taken , thrall, wizards, knights, ogres, goblins, hobgoblins, Minotaurs, vandals, captains, and servitors....but no dregs?

17 답변Well technically a vandal and a dreg are the same thing. Dregs are the vandals who were stripped of their second pair of arms and given crap guns. So one could argue that when a dreg is taken, he is risen back up to his original form, which is a vandal. No other enemy in Destiny shares this connection.

4 답변Because oryx takes creatures to make them the "perfect form". Dregs are docked (meaning their lower twk arms are cut off) so oryx cannot take them because they cannot be the final form. Also, oryx can only take creatures, not machines. Thats why there are no taken harpies or servitors. (Hydras are part biological)

9 답변I have always assumed it is because when Oryx takes Dregs, he makes them perfect because the process of taking implicitly involves the removal of any perceived "imperfections." For example, being a double amputee... Since a Dreg has been docked, they are not perfect and therefore cannot be the final shape. So Oryx makes them perfect, makes them Vandals, by taking them. Just my personal theory.

6 답변Seems like he only takes the "Strong" enemies and leaves the lowly ones alone. If that's the case though, why dafuq does he take the Psions then?

4 답변When oryx takes people he gives them what they desire so dregs become vandals and some vandals become captains, but he's not gonna make all fallen kell he needs it balanced

5 답변Probably the same reason there aren't natural Taken Thralls, the warping is too much for their weak bodies. Waste energy taking things that probably won't survive, or just kill them? Which would you pick?
