Wife got me a PS4. :)
Well... thanks to the wife, it looks like my adventure will continue.
We don't have much money, and i've been preparing to retire from console gaming (and probably gaming all together). So the wife (who also plays destiny) has been scheming to aquire a PS4 to support my hobby. Yesterday she delivered, it was very surprising, confusing, and quite shocking. She had really busted her ass sneaking around and saving money. She also creeps on my forum posts, and she's sleeping. So hop in here married gamers and tell your stories (or just let my ol' lady know how badass she is for doing this for me, she will definately read this at some point today)

Congrats! Sounds like you have a keeper. Damn I'm going to have to bust my balls to get a Xbox One and all the Destiny expansions again. Being 14 in a smaller city doesn't help, granted I am 6.4'' tall. So that might help but idk. Anyways congrats!

Total we lost round $5000 worth of stuff including 450+ 360 games (a collection that took YEARs to aquire), an Xbox One with 14 games, Flat screens, laptops, jewely... bastards got us good. Valentines day 2015 wife surprised me with a PS4. (It was used, but never hooked up w/ a copy of Destiny) We got 5 daughters, so I honestly didnt think I was ever gonna be able to go back to my hobby after the theft because just scrapping up the $$ for the Xbox One was a feat in itself.

My wife got me my PS3 for Christmas of 2014 and it came bundled with Destiny. I'll be 73 in a few weeks and Destiny was my first video game experience. I'm having the time of my life playing Destiny and have over 100 friends. I moved on to the PS4 in mid 2015 and have recently purchased an XBox One with the elite controller and the entire Halo series. I buy what I want because at 73 you don't know how much time you have left. My wife doesn't play but she rarely gets on me about playing. I'm in the top 9% of playing time on Destiny.
