Would make it almost unable to push you out or kill you. Strikers super becomes pointless to counter it & opponent bubble. Selfrez as well. Blade dancer as well. People make extra accounts to up vote what they like (moveing them to the top) and down vote what they don't or negative feedback (making it just disappear). Personally, I think all 3 of those changes that are suggested really wouldn't do anything that the class doesn't already have, or just done make sense. Suppression - You already have a grenade for that, or did you plan on running up and [i]punching[/i] that storm caller? As far as coming into the bubble...AoL plus NBP, nobody is going to win in your bubble but you. Indestructible Bubble - While this would be cool and all, it would be entirely OP. All Supers can be countered. To have an invincible bubble in which you are invincible (essentially) would really cause a hugely unfair advantage, especially on objective game modes. Moving Bubble - To be perfectly honest, I've heard this idea tossed around since launch, and it's never sounded like a good idea to me. If you could shoot out of it, it'd be OP. If you couldn't shoot out of it...it'd be pretty much useless. I mentioned in a comment on your post already but I'll say it again. Defender is probably the most versatile class in the game. It can be used for Offense or Defense, any weapon combo will work with it, you can be support, you can be lone wolf, and exotics synergize with a variety of builds which effectively add more selections to your skill tree. (Glasshouse, St. 14, NBP, ACDC's, Armamentarium all kick ass with Defender.) The only buff I personally think they need would be an faster animation when setting up your bubble.

All of those suggestions would make the defender op. I mean several ways to suppress enemies. The Nightstalker and defender have one way for a reason because it's stupid to have more than one. The bubble should always be destructible and it takes a person's entire super to do it so it cancels out. Like foping a arc blade. And model ward of dawn is the worst idea of them all. The problem is there is no way to buff the defender because it's not meant to have a high KD. It takes some skill to use but it takes a lot of skill to use defender and get a positive KD. But support classes aren't really supposed to have high kills. It's why in a game like overwatch they had to count supporting someone as assisting with a kill or no one would play support characters because they aren't there to get kills.

I like the general idea of buffing defender titans. Some of the buffs suggested are a tad questionable (i.e. suppression on melee hit). An argument can be made for the other changes and I'm generally in favor of them. However, what I think the Defender really needs to be be viable in competitive play are the following: 1. It needs to be able to tank at least 3 golden gun shots before canceling. 2. The nova bomb should be able to take the bubble down, but not kill everyone inside (looking at you split nova bomb). 3. Fist of havoc OUTSIDE the bubble should not destroy the bubble (inside is fine). 4. CC immunity inside the bubble for the titan who deployed it (basically they can't be knocked back out of there bubble, this is mainly a pve buff). 5. Also the bubble should persist after the titan who made it died. Tether persists after night stalker death so why shouldn't defender be the same? That's petty much it, if all of these were put in place the Defender would be competitive and viable class.

Their grenades and melee are both great so their neutral game should be on point, hell they should be 1.0 K/D no problem. The problem is that Ward of Dawn just a death wish. The only way it will be as strong a super is if a super can't kill it.

Love the suppression in bubble and on hit with desintegrate idea. I also think Armor of Light should just always be a buff the bubble gives you. Think of it as reverse nightstalker. Like shadowshot you are suppressed, maybe even slowed, but instead of enemies taking extra damage, the Titan has increased health via Armor of Light. Once you free up the bubble to do this, you can add a 3rd option for the bubble that either suppresses everyone around the titan or knocks them back, while giving a personal oversield WoD to the Titan to wear around.

Force barrier is the strongest shield in the game. You have armor to camp. Blessing for more health. Weapons for stronger damage. You don't need anymore shit. Oh and titan skating lol

Defenders are fine except two things 1: OHKO body shot snipers and 2: ridiculous 100 hitpoint over shields on shotgun kills (exotic perk) but the fact I've taken down bubbles with landfall is just sad

I won't disagree that they need a buff, but... I will disagree with the numerous players who think that Defender bubbles should suddenly become some kind of offensive tool that can follow you around the map, zap enemy players, push opposing guardians away from it, and fire orbital laser strikes. A lot of people fail to grasp the concept that the Defender is a support class. They are meant for being a boon to your teammates, not for going on flashy killstreaks. The bubble should be a tool for providing light cover against conventional gunfire to help lock down areas while distributing buffs. It also shouldn't be a mindless "I win" button that can completely stuff enemy offensive supers. That would be overpowered.

and JMP says that the reason defender sunk so low is because of the December nerf to the bubble...so to make up for it they want to nerf the hunter instead of just buffing the others...arse backwards logic in my opinion.

According to Bungie buffing makes things too lethal. So buffing defender would make it lethal and we can't allow that. I mean after all Bungie is now attempt to nerf kd
