Not getting hit by the grenade in the first place would be a good start.
The chance of a Sunsinger hitting you with a Firebolt if you're in the air or moving quickly was slim to none; the only people who were severely punished by them are those who like to hardscope hallways or camp corners..The same who get killed by Shoulder Charge and are trying to get that nerfed now.
Also who said anything about Flame Shield other than you? Do you have some personal grudge against Sunsingers or something; because I never once wanted to try to defend Flame Shield.

작성자: mus 6/24/2016 11:18:30 PMThat's not how most use firebolts. They are used when being pushed. Drop it on the floor around the corner, get a hit, melt with last word or snipe with shotgun. Or when making a push throw it at the enemy and then finish em with your guns. From your post it sounds like I should constantly be in the air or sprinting. Btw I don't think striker needs nerfing. I think these nonsense nerfs need to stop because they water the classes down to the point where there's barely a difference. Sunsinger didn't have to be nerfed it had to be changed. Give it something and unique but don't turn it into shit like they just did.

작성자: Erijian 6/24/2016 11:19:33 PMWowie, you can do the same thing with almost any grenade and deal more upfront damage. Funny enough; if someone uses a Firebolt Grenade defensively (To stop a person pushing you) isn't that your own mistake for being so predictable? On the topic of mobility; mobility is huge in Destiny. Why wouldn't you be taking advantage of the many mobility options we have available to us? Do you just walk/crouch around everywhere?

Please name these grenades that do more upfront damage and are so easy to use. Radar makes any push predictable. The only way to not be noticed is to be against an enemy that doesn't check radar. You also cant jump out of a firebolt as easily as an incendiary or a vortex or a tripmine. I use all destiny's movement whether it be a slide, jump, crouch and I know all of there advantages but whether your on the floor crouched, sliding or in mid air the firebolt still hits you. Especially in close quarters situations firebolts are near unavoidable.

I don't claim for these to be as easy to use as Firebolts WERE (They're pretty even now), but I do find them relatively simple and consistent for priming enemies that are attempting to push in on you. All of these deal more than 100 damage easily (Bar Arcbolt's 97); around the amount of a Firebolt + three DoT ticks.
