Let's add a firing range to the tower
So when we get new weapons we can test out all the scopes, perk options, etc. Give us a place to test recoil control without having to load into a map and find a blank wall somewhere.
Also, not to push our luck, but what if when you go into the firing range your gun acts as if it were fully upgraded- so you can tell before you spend the time or motes whether you like it.
I don't know how hard it would be to add to the tower... But if we're getting a new social space in the next decade, maybe somewhere in there? What do you think?
Update 1: Hey everyone, it's awesome that this topic is trending. Let's keep this post high so people can see it. It seems like some people don't see how this is different from patrol, but I'm glad that many of you who are commenting are doing such a good job explaining some of the advantages.
It seems right now like the IDEAL situation would be to be able to pretty much access the armory and select any gun with any perks to test it out on dummies OR to be able to take our own weapons in to try out different scopes and perks so we can see what we like before we start practicing on moving targets. It seems like every time I check this post there are more and more good ideas or well articulated ideas of other comments. Keep it up everyone!
Update 2: I'm so glad this is staying trending- maybe it'll be seen by the higher ups. Let's keep talking and keep the discussion going. And now that this is a big topic, I wonder what Cozmo, Deej, and the others think about it.

작성자: JasperGTR 6/25/2016 5:35:52 PMI love this idea. I do this in real life as well, with most guns, cars (not all cars, though, some have a no-test-drive policy), etc... Really helps reduce buyer's remorse - and in this game allow us to have more fun.

1 답변That's an awesome idea! Another cool addition to that would be for the dummies to show damage output like you're shooting another guardian in pvp so we can see what the weapons will crit for, body shot damage etc.

This has been an ask since alpha. Every time it's brought up, it gets a lot of upvotes and replies. If I ever want to create a trending topic, I'll recycle this one. 2 답변I've been wanting this for such a long time! If I've just upgraded a new weapon and I want to try it out, I dont want to have to load all the way into a patrol.

3 답변A good idea it would be even better if there was a proper gunsmithing option where you can scrap weapons and stack weapon perks that you could then assign to get the perfect roll rather than been at the mercy of the RNG and having to constantly grind trying for that elusive perfect role.
