You wanted a YouTube video, I offered you my Twitch channel to see it live. The post we talked on was taken down and I didn't catch your username.
Well, just finished doing it and here are the first 3 games. Enjoy!
These videos not only show how many attempts fail for the people who don't see them, thinking that they all work, but they also show the little things that skilled chargers learn to do to increase the effectiveness, such as:
- Over-turning to the point where it breaks the aim assist and getting the kill from where your body is moving, this requires LOTS of practice and becomes a "feeling"
- Pushing the limits of the lunge distance/curve
- Staying extremely mobile and even weaving to dodge enemy fire
- Learning the exact timing of the Shoulder Charge activation window and manipulating the sprint to reset it at key times, this requires map awareness and planning
- Learning the enemy habits and play styles, similar skills needed to be good with Fusion Rifles
You can see each game gets better in regards to Shoulder Charge effectiveness the longer it goes on. You can also see that most people CHOOSE NOT to spec against my play style and THAT is why Shoulder Charge can be so effective, just like every other ability. If you're not set up to counter an ability and are playing in that ability's effective areas, you can't claim it to be OP. You're just ill-prepared and being stubborn. Learn to counter (mandatory "git gud" comment).
Yes, these are FULL GAMES, uncut, from fly-in to carnage report.

Brief summary:
- Game 1 = 34 kills, 27 Shoulder Charges
- Game 2 = 28 kills, 17 Shoulder Charges
- Game 3 = 25 kills, 20 Shoulder Charges
I'm the Striker you're all complaining about, not your every day average Striker Joe.

1 답변Lol offers up video proof of not needing weapons, by shoulder charging a bunch of people... Hen explains it doesnt need to be nerfed. Is shoulder charge avoidable, definitely... Will Bungie care once more people complain about it, definitely not.

1 답변Nice skills. This post shows exactly how in the right hands anything can be op. I've said it in plenty of post you can't nerf skills. Bungie needs to understand when they nerf an item or ability it only hurts the less skilled player base.

3 답변I actually did this the other day. I main a hunter and my Titan collects dust on the character screen, but I decided to not be a try hard for a little bit. Only difference was I didn't use grenades or super so only SC/melee and I was averaging 20 kills a game. I'm gonna record a few using all abilities but no weapons like you did and post a reply video so we can get some competition going. Also, if you're down to jump in a fireteam with me, we can go against eachother for a live No weapon kills competition

3 답변I watched two videos, and your undeniable skill notwithstanding, my opinion of shoulder charge remains the same: Every time shoulder charge kills me, it's my fault.

I salute you, you magnificent bastard. This is my kind of gameplay. And I want to throw something out there. I'm always the striker that shoulder charges too much, that said, I had to play a more neutral game to start working on "the mountaintop" quest line. Gave up shoulder charge for unstoppable to get max armor. You want an indirect counter to shouldercharge? Run max armor, you will catch so many strikers off guard when you survive the initial shoulder charge, leading to an easy kill. If you complain about dying to SC, it's because you don't invest in the counter

Shoulder charge is the EASIEST ability to avoid. It also depends on map how good shoulder charge does . I've had decent games playing around with just shoulder charge but 90% of the time you will get wrecked ...most people know how to react when they see a Titan running straight at them without a care in the world. Most kills with shoulder charge are "lucky" like catching people coming around a corner or something. If shoulder charge was so great it's all you would see in trials. When I play trials I see like 1 Titan for every 10 locks and hunters. The best players are using the best classes and strikers and Titans are not it. We have been underdogs in pvp for just about 2 years minus about 3 weeks of hammertime.
