What made Halo so great? Destiny is great, but an M rating would make it so much better. It would give the developers and story writers more creative licence. Levels with darker themes would create a powerful contrast between "the darkness" vs "the light". Correct me if I am wrong.
Edit: Ok, if you think that an "M" rating automatically implies gratuitous sex and violence, please dont speak because you dont know what you are talking about. "M" simply means that a game's creators have an extended range of creative potential when choosing content. It means the game can have a level of psychological maturity otherwise closed off to something trying to fit within a "T" content range. Stop being plebs and assuming that anything "adult" must necessarily be filled with sex and violence.

1 답변I watch Game of thrones way to heavy. Destiny is child's play and I need more brutality of the flesh. This game lacks darkness. Just a bunch of happy go lucky bad guys who would puke if shiite got real...

4 답변But dlc can't have a rating. Because it follows the rating of the game it's expanding upon. Now if you said make destiny 2 rated m sure go for it. Won't get it anyways.

1 답변I'd like to see deeper emotions, risky words, and of course...blood. when a raid boss slams someone. .a brutal death would just add some pizazz!

8 답변the game does seem rather childish compared to halo. I want blood coming out of things when I shoot it and want creatures of the darkness creeping me the -blam!- out. do some cool cut scenes where they torture a guardian and rip it's arms off or some shit. DO SOMETHING COOL

5 답변Until there's blood, assassinations, usable bayonets on guns like red death and plan c, then it can be m for mature

3 답변Look at games like CoD, GTA or mortal kombat. All mature or 18+ games yet kids still play them. Rating doesn't mean anything because parents will still buy it for there kids.

If you watched one of their streams, they were speaking about a concept for something called 'drowning in blood' but they had to change it because in a 'T' rated game you can only use the word 'blood' in the sense of ancestry.
In Australia, the game would go from M to MA15+ if they made that change, which would also decrease the amount of squeakers by about 10%, to purchase an MA15+ game you need to show identification if the people at the cashier are uncertain of your age.
5 답변The only reason why I want Destiny to be rated M is for Assassinations. One of my favorite things about Halo.

5 답변I agree. It's the last of the resistance fighting the darkness. If I see a hive god half a mile tall pop up over a ledge I won't be saying, "Hi Oryx...", I'll be saying, "Holy f*cking sh*t! OK let's bring this f*cker down". For example, The Last of Us. If you disregard the gore (which is pretty much required for a game in the zombie genre), what made the game great? The story! It is the only game that I've ever cared for a secondary character more than the protagonist. It's because they made the characters real! Ellie didn't grow up saying "crap" when things went to sh*t. They made the characters real and relatable. You think Guardians are any less human (more like sentient)? Give us something we can relate to. The story is a struggle, and it honestly seems like a struggle to keep it rated teen instead of giving us the truth of how desperate things are.

2 답변Raising it to m won't make it any better...nor will it happen. Just look at legend of zelda...it's not rated m and has been a major player in gaming for 20 some years.

2 답변Thing is tho guardians are supposed to be pure and the forces of pure Light and all Things good, the warriors of the sky. We don't torture, we just destroy what we need to to take back our lands.

1 답변Pretty sure they're in the final stages of development. Doubt they'd rewrite code to add a little blood
