Does anyone choose gear/weapons based off of looks?
I like the look of the eyasluna and happen to have two of them with excellent rolls. I have one for pve and one for pvp. I also love the invective, bad juju, Haakons hatchet, pretty much all of New Monarchy, the Soulstealers Claw (which has still eluded me), harrowed quillims, Hardlight, Red death and of course Gjallarhorn . I wish there was a "Gjallarhorn skin for all of he weapons.
Please share if you're u are in the same mindset or love the look of any in particular weapon.
Edit 1: HOLY $#!%. Got on this morning and saw 100+ replies! Thanks folks, time to start reading. Glad to see I'm not the only Fashion Fighter out there.
Edit 2:I never did tell you what I like for my gear.
Titan: all spectar if possible with yellow chroma and vallesgarde shader and dead orbit exotic class mark.
Warlock: if I wear vallesgarde (it has really good solid black on warlocks) I wear one of two extic chest pieces ( usually the one with two fusion grenades but sometimes sun breaker gauntlets) and/or new monarchy chest. Everything is black and yellow with yellow chroma.
I also like midday with my warlock with green chroma gear and ram helmet.
Hunter: void flayer cloak armor is a bit random and queens web shader. Can also use Krokos shader and another purple one I forgot the name of.
Edit 3: I see some folks who prefer stats before style (which is understandable) but the nice thing about trying to achieve both is it definitely gives you something more to strive for. This game has come a long way from when it launched and the amount of customization is superb. Anyone remember when we all looked [u]exactly the same[/u] in order to achieve appropriate light level? That sucked. It was like showing up to o prom in the same dress (at least I imagine it is lol!)

5 답변The plight of gamers for over a decade. Stats vs. Style I love the sunsinger class, and the exotics all have good perks, but I just hate the style so much. I wish there was a sunsinger helmet, that'd probably look baller af. But for now, I'll keep my robes. (I much prefer the warlock trench coats to the warlock robes omfg. Bungie please make a sunsinger trench coat or helmet)

Cloak of oblivion as cloak. Weapons kinda vary, but usually suros pdx, plan c, or last word, 1k stare, and sometimes just any primary plus shotgun.

I enjoy making my guardian look right, though i keep a good margin of stats as well. So when im running vog, ill switch to all vog gear, including ship sparrow and shader, same with crrotas end. But i wont switch my weapons. I still like to keep my weapons in line as well though, So when i use a black shader (like old guard or revenent) ill switch to a black weapon like the new suros and new red death, or a hard light. When im using chatter white ill switch to my monte carlo. when im using any purple shaders like prism dancer or the special edition hunter one i cant remember the name of i switch to one of my hand canons that look the part. Of course what i meant by a good margin of stats, is that for crucible i like to go themed, unless trials or iron banner. For raids i like to go themed, except for kings fall where only stats matter. For strikes ill go themed, except for weekly and nightfall. The harder stuff, i keep my stats. the casual stuff like regular crucible (why would anyone play sweats if it isn't actually competitive until trials or iron banner) ill go themed.

I do care about looks. I'll hang onto a piece of gear even though I don't like the stats because of looks. That said, shaders go a long way in mitigating crappy looking gear, imo. With guns, I couldn't care less how they look.

2 답변I've had the same hunter helmet on since I hit level 40. It has solid pve perks and it's the best looking helmet for any class in my humble opinion. It's the FWC Infinite lines mask. The flashing letters on the face are so legit.

2 답변I love the raid cheat armor for the warlock, especially all in white. Don't think i could ever get rid of it. Besides that its helping my be tier 12
