Forget the last poster. Let's say it more like 100% to the people that actually get it! C-D'eej Balls! I don't care that it's not actually his fault the game is going down the toilet with the turds they call "balance" patches to improve the "Fun" factor of the game ...but with a name like "D'eej" I can't resist firing all my nerfed non-hitting invisible rounds at once on his face! D'eej ...Are they trying to recreate a retro throw back to overly simplistic Halo weaponry and game play (since they can't seem to move on)? Follow me on this one for a moment... Isn't the whole concept of variable weaponry to create a combat tactical specialization that tips the scales against "balance" to gain a momentary tactical advantage over enemy combatants? Weapons should never be balanced. Right? They do call them arms races for a reason ...but, I guess I shouldn't expect a bunch of entitled millennials (or scrubs) sitting around in unprofessional work attire all day (yes ..you with the sandals and t-shirt on a national broadcast), with their little iPhone calculations, 5 sided dice, and toilet paper quality math and analytics (who have never carried an actual weapon on a real fire team), to understand the original vision of Destiny as a highly diverse tactically based shooter/combat sim? Yes it's a game everyone. A once great and uniquely competitive and diverse game that challenges skill and intellect. And it appears it is a game that is wasted on current entitled generations that have spurred a plague of entitled losers complaining about "balance out of frustration or obnoxiousness or fear"? Reading all these changes as a result of "Bungie, it's not fair that I'm getting killed over and over", brings back memories of grade school kickball and that whiney kid that insisted on having "do-overs" and it "not being fair" because he wouldn't admit to himself that he just plain sucked! And that maybe if he applied himself a little, he'd be successful and have a little fun. But, instead we have whole generations just like that kid who needs a participation trophy every time to compensate for his fragile self worth and inability to "have fun" in a competitive environment when losing to a better competitor. (Yes..millennials, playing outside in competitive sports was encouraged and not in alignment with the entitled culture of "everyone is a winner".). ...Destiny at its core ..is a complex tactical sim game that offers tremendous variability of weapon types, perqs, skills, and abilities to offset "balance" in tactical situations (or at least it did). So I've come to the conclusion ... that D'eej and all his t-shirt toting pot smoking dangle wearing friends have decided to forgo this original vision and create a "vanilla" shooter game for all those whiney 1st graders who can't comprehend or appreciate the complexity and tremendous value of calculus. I think, Bungie should have stood up and dropped their pants and shouted "See D'eej Balls!" Definitely much more appropriate cost effective response to all the whining ...and if you want "balance" go play Miss PacMan or pong or some shit game on your iPhone that requires no skill or thought; instead of complaining about how you've been wronged by "op" this or "op" that... To all those F'n whining kindergartners who want to "play" soldier but think that combat sims should be "fair" when you get your ass repeatedly kicked? I say "See D'eej Balls!" What say you tried and true Destiny diehards? ...Anyway, if you took offense to this post. Your "participation" sterling treasure reward and your "participation" candy 320 ghost are waiting for you at the post master (to make you feel like a winner again).
