I like SC when I Titan and respect it when I'm on Hunter or Warlock. I generally just kill whatever I see and try to keep my engagements at mid to mid long range. So, while SC does get me plenty, generally, it's my fault that I died to it or it was a sneaky Titan. All that aside. I don't have a problem with SC when not Titaning. Few things in the crucible actually feel as though they present a tangible threat. SC is one of those last few. Personally, I welcome the challenge. Let's go Titans. Bring it on

I was expecting something more, but the moment I read that you went toe to toe with a shoulder charging titan with your melee I lost all hope of anything valid. Bungie should leave it alone, they've done enough damage to melee abilities recently...

Main as Hunter. Shoulder Charge is annoying as hell, ridiculous even, but you need a run up... Need to charge your opponent without being shotgunned to face, also you need to hit your target. It's not hard to dodge if you see it coming. If they nerf it, they need to buff something else. So no, they should leave it. It's the sneaky players that use it well that forces the salt out.

Shadestep can counter a SC. Even when it's literally perfectly executed. Warlocks? They're SoL really. They can [b][i] easily [/i][/b] trade with how easily they can shotgun melee. But thats not [i]really[/i] a counter. Titans can use TG. But it can't counter quite as well since the nerf as shadestep still can. But that's all pretty irrelevant. Because unless they get you from a direction that you didn't see them (as in when blink strike would 1HK) you simply have to acknowledge what they're doing to be able to easily shotgun them. No trade or ability/charge necessary. The counter is readily available. The only thing wrong with SC is the ability to use it around/through corners since the fix to hit detection. Personally, I don't think it should be able to proc upwards. Downward makes sense. A knee to the face? Bad. A flying headbutt to the foot? I think I'll pull through. Never mind that whole gravity nonsense.

Leave it as it is. Adapt

Let the scrub titans have their shoulder charge. They can't get many kills otherwise.
