Guns should be made illegal
Guns have caused nothing but death and destruction. America as a whole would be better of without them.
How would you feel about this situation if a loved one was injured or killed in a gun Incident???
If a baby runs around with scissors we take away the scissors. Why does this same logic not work with guns??
Edit: I stated my opinion respectfuly and I expect you to do the same.
Edit:: I don't remember ever hearing about a mass stabbing or car crash killing 50 human beings. So Please dont use the people will kill people without guns argument.
Edit::: the majority of mass shooting are not criminals. They got their guns legally and shot a bunch of people.
Edit:::: I am not talking about illegal guns and gang violence specifically. Criminals will still find ways to get guns but none of the mass shooter have had criminal records.
Edit::::: the argument that guns are needed to protect me because I can shoot someone that is going to shoot me will only lead to you getting shot faster. If someone had a gun out you would not be able to get yours and shoot them before they see you and shoot you in the spot.

4 답변If I take a gun and lock you in the same room with a gun, will it harm you? No. The gun will not do anything. It will just sit there. It's a gun. It can't do anything. This time you are in the room, but the gun is in the hand of a psychotic. A crazy and violent person. What will happen? You will probably be shot and die. In both cenarios you have been in the presence of a gun. But in one, you are unharmed. Therefor it was not the gun that was responsible for the harm that would befall you on cenario B. It was the violent and crazed individual. The gun has done nothing. The psychotic has harmed you. And as for the question in your original post regarding how I would feel if a loved one was killed by a gun: I wouldn't give a shit about the gun. I'd want the man who used it dead and would go to any lengths to see that through.

1 답변Either move out of America or know that to me and thousands of others you and those like you are an enemy of the state. I took an oath to uphold the Constitution and take that oath seriously. You might want to do some research on mass stabbings as they do exist, but the media doesn't give them as much time because it doesn't fit their agenda. Cars used as weapons or deaths due to DUI kill tons of people every year. Nobody blames the car.

4 답변But people will kill people without guns. Guns aren't the whole problem. It's also the motives that make people want to kill people. One example is radical Islam. If the problem is actually going to be fixed, people need to realize that both of these are a problem, and that fixing one isn't going to fix the problem. I'm also going to mention that I don't think the whole religion of Islam is bad, but a small part of it has caused multiple attacks in the US and around the world. Remember Timothy McVeigh? He killed over 100 people, and he didn't use a gun. It can happen, and if guns are banned, people could turn to bombs to kill others.

I can't believe it, but somehow the terrorists in Paris had guns. I know it, doesn't make sense. But, the terrorists are just good at getting guns, I guess. Illegal arms traffickers? No way in hell they're going to sell something that's double illegal. That's just crazy talk.

Also, France, a country with some very strict gun laws. I guess they won't have a mass shooting anytime soon...oh wait.

2 답변It is still not the guns that are the cause of damage or problem. A gun always need someone to pull trigger. A gun can not pull the trigger itself. It is the same with a knife, it needs someone to hold it for it to be of use. Same with a car, it does not start and drive itself. It needs someone to start and drive it. My point is; humans are the underlying problem. Not guns, knives or cars.
