1 답변Not only this. HC, favorite waepons of Hunters in PVE are useless now because of that ridiculos range. Pulse & autorifles are still useless because it takes too long to take an enemy down. All that's left are scoutrifles. For now. They will nerf them to the ground too. Then we will all melee in PVE. Dark times are looming ...

6 답변Tripmine was nerfed because it could be used as a trap or sticky grenade. No sticky grenade stays around if it misses. Throwing it at a person was not it's intended use. So making it not stick to them makes sense.

8 답변Bump. I agree with you 100% . The hunter has the weakest grenades. Every other class has a grenade that sticks and kills in 1 shot; and they just took that away from hunters and nerfed the over damage. This was a bad move on bungie

Golden Gun was the only super that had absolutely no armor buff on use. Sure, the GG shots were OHK, and two could drop a bubble instantly, but a stray bullet could literally ruin your day once that super is popped. And I am not talking about a random sniper shot: I am talking about [b]primary bullets[/b]. Someone across the map with a decent scout could drop you while you were trying to do work on his team. No other super for any subclass has that issue - hell, even Shadowshot offers up an armor buff when using it! How Bungie came to the conclusion, at the tail end of Year 2, that a grenade since the beta needed a tweek after hardly a peep was mentioned about it anywhere (save a few posts from ppl bitching about Mayhem trips with Ahamkara exotic) is beyond me. That and the throwing knives - it was such a small niche community of Gunslingers that were profficient enough to spam those things, and get the crits to immediately reset the ability, I have a hard time believing any of this is about "balance". My guess is Bungie is working on something with RoI, and these Gunslinger perks were going to make something extremely easy in the future, hence shutting them down now.

My biggest problem is the nerf to the throwing knife. It won't 1 hit kill enemies anymore in PVE. So it really is a waste of time. I don't care about PVP. But you'll have to remove the medal for getting a head shot kill with a knife. Since that doesn't happen anymore.

3 답변Destiny is and has been a non skill based game. For example firebolts magnetics flux and fusion grenades. None of those actually needed to be aimed or well placed. Trip mines on the other hand had a delay and it's not easy to stick people. Now all the tracking grenades are grenade meta, I main hunter gunslinger over any subclass and I use the ahamkara glove for that extra trip mine. Now I have to play passive with my trip mines rather than aggressive like everyone else with their noob grenades

41 답변The thing about trip mines was how they could completely close off the map (or at least lanes) to you. You know they are OHK (and everywhere, because there's 6 hunters on the other team haha) so all you can do is try to spot something to shoot at at range. Golden gun is of course the best super at range for obvious reasons. So what we have (correction, HAD) here was a combo that was basically not counterable (except by the same tactics). The change was necessary and this WAS a crutch and really very cheap. Simple as that

1 답변I know many of you probably don't wanna hear this, but I also have a problem with a nerf for nightstalker. While I am glad suppression now triggers on impact (YASSS), I do have a problem with them decreasing smoke and grenade power. I get the shadestep nerf, but why remove the nightstalker's ability to trap people!? Bungie missed the point of the class entirely! THE NIGHTSTALKER IS SUPPOSED TO TRAP ENEMIES AND MAKE KILLING THEM EASIER!!! THAT IS WHAT A SUPPORT CLASS DOES!!!

Gods, I agree! and I am a Gunslinger. Bungie, stop messing with the characters. if you HAVE to do something, adjust the enemies' ridiculous strength/defense... give us twists in the missions/boards. Don't take the tools of the trade and turn 'em into gardening tools, man. that's for all classes. If you got a headshot with the knife, you deserve that kill/death. if you were nice enough with the grenade, you deserve that kill. Bad enough you can't stab shyt and kill it, while a Titan will sit there, take a knife and smile, THEN kill a hunter. Y'all are focusing on the wrong things with these updates. Meanwhile, punk-azz snipers are just fine being able to kill you without even aiming the crosshairs properly... c'mon now. Don't touch my Hawkmoon any further. things like these... drive folks to other realms to war.

6 답변Trip mines and knives were fine and I'm pretty sure it was a one in million deaths that was a throwing knife while at full health and to be honest I traded more often than not when I stuck someone with a trip mine

I agree with the tripmine thing.... Why nerf it? It is hard to stick to someone. But on the topic of balance, why do the supers that are most able to team wipe, with the super only, get OP over shield (arc blade, storm trance, hammers of sol, fist of havoc), while a class like the gun slinger gets little to no over shield? How are having the classes with the most powerful attacks from their super also getting the most powerful ove rshield? How is that balanced? I would rather Bungie restore the OP super attacks and then just nerf over shield in to the ground.

I think balance is an act and not a state. I think that Bungie honestly does a good job with evening things out, the problem is the amount of time it takes them to make patches. I don't want time to kill to decrease anymore than it currently is because I don't want frantic, meat grinder gameplay that is akin to Call of Duty. I know that I'm a decent enough player to be able to adapt any changes and still have fun. ——Hard-Light-4-Life————————

This is the same kind of thing that happened with pre-TTK last year. The last two game updates make me believe that Bungie is about to wipe everything clean again for Y3. Be prepared for everything you currently have to be junk again. Be prepared to have to learn to how to play the game all over again to adjust to the nerfs again Again, Again.
