Look man, if almost everyone who's commented is insulting the video, we can agree it's bad. There really isn't any counter argument there. The terrible audio, excessive cussing, immaturity, and terrible comedy are agreed upon by pretty much everyone trashing on the video. Let's face facts, you need to get your head out of your ass and listen to criticism instead of desperately trying to defend an undefendable video. I understand you take pride in your work, but our audio equipment is more than capable of processing the sound in your videos. Also, the jokes don't go over our heads. In fact, many of them go below our heads, being too inane and stupid to be funny. I'd say Offtopic is more intelligent than you, not the other way around.
Constructive criticism time!
How I'd improve the video:
>more exposition, that way people might know what the hell is happening
>more intelligent dialogue, don't rely so much on cussing and memes
>learn how to be funny, no idea how, just do it. Don't use sex and memes as a substitute for comedy.
>use better mics when you record the audio, you may also want to avoid heavily processing it to the point it's no longer understandable

Ok, just had the time to read all that... I am funny. Everything sounds EXACTLY the way I planned it. I mean this with NO implied snark. You just don't get the gag. I am funny. Intelligent dialog isn't what I am going for. I am funny. If you actually watched the first 6 episodes, you'd see the exposition. That, and the fact that in 7 episodes I've told 40 minutes of a story...that's barely enough content for 2 sitcom episodes. 2 sitcom episodes won't tell you jack about the plot. I am funny. Most of your points are bland and without merit.

작성자: I Love Mai Waifu 6/12/2016 6:40:17 PMThe joke is that you're not funny. I get that. That joke works once in a video. An entire video that isn't funny just ends up being bereft of comedy. My point is that the joke isn't funny, and as a result you're not funny.

For starters, do you think that my project is supposed to be like TED, or Family Guy? If you do, you are off point. But again, your opinion isn't valid because you have stated plenty of times that you have to real experience or talent in the field/topic of discussion. Bottom line is that you simply can't resist your urge to tell others they are bad, wrong, not what you agree with. Your inability to see and change your own character flaws are what makes you feel compelled to tell others their faults. You know what the term is for people like that? A SOCIOPATH.

LOL, "butthurt", what is this, 2004? To be "butthurt" would require me to value your opinion...which I have already stated that I don't. I want to get to the bottom of why you can't realize that you are just helping my cause.
-
All being butthurt requires is getting upset over something someone else said. My opinions clearly upset you. That's why you're arguing as fervently as you are. I, on the other hand, am laughing my ass off. I guess a more up to date term is salty, so I'll use that for now. First let's think of a new username for you. I know, CarnageIsSaltyXxXx.

I already told you, I'm LOVING THIS. I am literally laughing my ass-off at the fact that a bunch of teenagers are all over this topic like 3 hungry Mexicans on Taco Tuesday. No really, I AM THOROUGHLY enjoying the fact that my plan is working well this weekend....all because a bunch of trolls like you are "butt-hurt" that my video is perceived to be in the wrong sub-forum. Any way you slice it, I have my pants down, the tissues are right next to me, and I CAN'T WAIT to burst when I read your next comment. You want me to put it all on Youtube?

작성자: I Love Mai Waifu 6/12/2016 6:30:20 PMI have a YouTube account, but I never post on it. The reason why is simple, I don't have the ability to make genuinely good content. I don't have the necessary creativity to make anything worth posting. The reason I criticize others is so they can improve their work. You have a lot of room for improvement. I don't do it out of insecurity or anything like that.

작성자: WeirdosXxXx 6/12/2016 6:39:50 PMYou have an account but you don't have a real Channel. My point is that you most likely don't know how to edit, write, promote, or come up with any sort of content. You are so disappointed in your life that you feel the need to express your opinion even when it's not solicited. I don't need your "criticism" because you have no experience on the topic of making machinima. I need people who actually can see the nuances that I KNOW most people on these forums can't. These forums are FULL of people who really aren't intellegent, have no respect for others, have no real education, and have no real motivation other than to hate on the internet. I learned a LONNNNNG time ago that more people will manifest their frustrations at themselves by saying mean things to people who post their meaningless crap online. It's a pile of meaninglessness. Opinions are like a wet fart in a quiet room, no one wants to hear it.
-
Dude, if you put something on the Internet, you should expect opinions. Putting something online and expecting everybody to be nice and polite about it, with nothing bad to say at all is honestly not a good mindset to have at all.

작성자: I Love Mai Waifu 6/12/2016 6:48:11 PMSaying I have no experience and thus cannot criticize is an incredibly fallacious argument. That's like saying a film critic isn't allowed to have an opinion on films until they've made one. I watch hours of YouTube a day. That's plenty of time for me to pick up on what's good and what's bad. I may not be an expert on Machinimas, but I know enough to point out some major flaws in your work. I don't care if my opinion isn't solicited. When you released your video you should have been aware that others would criticize your work, whether you want them to or not. As for your shitty "wet fart" comment, have you ever wanted to read a review or an editorial? If so, you wanted to read an opinion. Is it only negative opinions about yourself you don't want to hear? Or all opinion? If it's the latter, get off the internet. You can't avoid opinion on it.

Ok, let's go through some logic here: If a baseball player wants to be a better hitter, he goes to a hitting coach. If a child is sick his parents take him to a doctor. If car is acting up, you take it to a mechanic. If you want help with something, you go to someone with experience. Better results will be achieved than by consulting someone who saw baseball on TV, or went to WebMD to look up an ailment, but hopefully you get the point... You're not a hitting coach, you're not a doctor, you aren't a mechanic...you're just a regular, no-talent, average, ordinary, run-of-the-mill person with no IDEA how to make a video or to write a unique story.

You make a good point. You don't have to listen to my criticism, but when it's something as broad and simple is audio quality, I think I can judge it. I may not be able to help your writing or editing, but I can give some opinions on the overall quality of the video.
