So, I haven't actually shotgunned in a long time. Like, I haven't really used a shottie since the reign of Shot Package and Matador 64. But as of recently I've found my PvP experience getting a little stale, and I thought I'd change it up and give shotguns a "shot" again. Only problem is that I don't really know what to use, so I turned to the community for helping finding my weapon of choice. Below I've listed the shotguns that I have, ripe for the picking.
Party Crasher +1
-Exhumed
--Rifled Barrel
-Grenadier
Binary Dawn
-Rangefinder
--Single-Point Sling
--Flared Magwell
--Field Scout
-Army of One
Conspiracy Theory-D
-Rangefinder
--Rifled Barrel
-Performance Bonus
As well as Invective and The Chaperone.
What do you guys think?

Please before posting why I'm a moron please continue reading. You have 2 Party Crasher users going at it. Who is likely to win? The one with the most Range right? Well yes on a head to head, yes Range will win it. How often to you find yourself face to face with another shotgun and you are far enough to get that Range advantage? For me it's seldom as it'll usually be right in their face after going through a doorway or ect. So I suggest this. Focus on other Perks. I've got a godly Party Crasher. Replenish (I'm aggressive with my Super, on a 5 mag shotgun this means I'll likely never or rarely run out of ammo and not have to worry about picking ammo up. In PvE this with Second Thoughts on a Helm, it's a slaughter.) Braced Frame (Less range, more stability!? I should get burned at the stake right? Well for me I find that if I focus on out manoeuvring my opponents that allows me to have a much more stable hip fire so I can do follow up shots and my general mobility isn't thrown off as much) One Man Army (In my opinion the best possible perk on a Shotgun or Fusion Rifle. Since you are likely to get quick kills with them rapidly your neutral game goes through the roof! Max Strength and Discipline and you can toss those powers around willy nilly.) So with this Shotgun I boost my neutral game by working my but off for those kills. Use Melee abilities that charge my Super up (Blink Shotgun Voidwalker with Soul Rip anyone?) Once my ammo runs dry I cast my Super. Boom 5 rounds in the mag and let's continue this crazy train. So to recap. Focusing on perks that make you stronger while learning to use the stats you've got to their best, in my opinion, is more deadly then Range.

I would recommend party crasher until you get used to one banging with consistency. The conspiracy theory relative to your party crasher is WAY better. But that God awful fire rate will get you killed if you miss. So I would use the faster fire rate party crasher to hit follow up shots and then work your way up when you get timing down.

1 답변I got a Party Crasher and Conspiracy with the perks on the 3rd one. The PC has a faster rate of fire compared to the CT and that's it, I'd go with the CT.

3 답변Rifled or reinforced barrel is all you really need, rangefinder is a borderline useless perk.
