$20-$25. dollars(US) in my opinion is better because let's face it nothing from TTK will be relevant anymore unless the Infusion system is permanent and the level cap for ALL gear and weapons is consistently updated with each New DLC to Make it relevant because honestly the grind can become somewhat tedious or annoying if it consistently get's left behind with each fricking update that doesn't make anyone happy no one at all is happy when everything they earned thru hrs of effort and grinding is made pointless with each update.
Not if ur old gen player that wants to upgrade to next gen.
U have to buy vanilla, ttk and the rise of iron...
But if ur on next gen already, then 30 dollar or whatever currency is justified
with the amount of bugs/glitches/lag and other issues the game already has I don't agree at all about the price of RoI... until they fix the broken stuff we already have to deal with they shouldn't charge so much for so little.
I have a history of rants regarding cost and value in this game.
I personally feel Bungie is almost completely out of touch with its original player base and was fuming when I had to shell out $40 for Taken King after paying $60 + $35 for Beta and Year 1 content just to watch it get de-validated. All the while new players paid a silly $60 for everything.
That was last year.
Then Bungie stated that we would have no more paid dlc content for a year, and I ponied up to give them a chance. They have so far kept their word.
I also was bothered that they nerfed the Ghalli into only base PVP usefulness.
With all of this said, Bungie employees do need to make a living. I paid $35 for the season pass year 1, and if now it's $30 for the equivalent, then that's not too bad.
We may get a "re-skinned raid" or we may get something new, but we will also get continued annual content. Did anyone consider that we may also get ANOTHER raid halfway through the year?
That's right. For the first time in a very long while I think the cost is reasonable. There is no surprises, no mystery of cost, we have ample time to set aside funds even for a pre-order, and some of the new content is just plain cool looking.
For everyone griping that one must purchase the content to get the Ghalli, I have a feeling that this is not the case. In order to get the Ghalli GUARANTEED, yes it is a requirement. But just because Xur won't be selling it, does not mean that it also cannot drop from other sources.
It's a good deal for the content thinking annually.
Quite reasonable and I'm not super hyped about it yet but the reveal excited me enough to preorder. I will be buying this anyway so the theme and iron gally just sweetened the deal
If only it was 30 dollars. Ps gives one hell of a lousy exchange ratw to my currency.. i am oaying closer to 40 bucks - but i already pre ordered tonight anyhow..
