Lord Jyoti (female - prefer the aesthetics of female characters in this game - they don't look like Marcus Fenix wearing space armor). Not sure of her race though, but definitely human or Awoken. Looks similar to Haakon's Hatchet except with golden filigreed wrapped around it to look like the branches of the Ironwood Tree. All barrel mods, so standard sight is OES..because I love the thing. Has 40 rounds in the mag. Exotic perk is Grace Under Fire, which procs triple-tap after 4 precision hits and activates a combination of Unflinching and Counterbalance to increase likelihood of more precision hits. Lasts for 3 seconds. Can be re-proc'ed within the 3 seconds but only resets the timer, doesn't stack stability. Flavour text - Forged in remembrance of Jyoti, she whose light illuminated the darkest of spaces. Grimoire text - There were stories told of her, that she was one of the few who knew who she was in her past life, that it gave her insights into the mysteries of the Light and helped her attune herself so finely to it that the separation of her and her power became impossible. One of the lesser-known Iron Lords, but only because most who spoke of her did in hushed tones, with reverence akin to that of a God or a myth. New guardians and old nemeses, they always knew her on approach. The effulgence of her Light made all stand in awe. Even amongst her most fervent enemies, they found themselves stilled by her presence..until her rage washed over them like waves breaking against the shoreline. Ghost fragment #1 - The Ghost had been searching for months, if not years. Every now and then it would catch a glimpse of luminescence, a single glimmer of untold power, and then it was gone. It had been shot by a Dreg, the damage done to it not catastrophic but more than it could repair on it's own in a timely fashion. With a salvage crew in hot pursuit, it knew this would be it's last voyage beyond the Wall. It had failed. Yet another Ghost to fall into the hands of the Eliksni, or another dead Ghost for a guardian to find, and mine it's memory for the things it had seen. Ghost fragment #2 - Eluding capture for the time being, the Ghost scanned the area for somewhere to hide, somewhere to settle for long enough to repair it's damages..but the Light. That incandescent flash, the radiant spark of untapped potential. It pulsed, and the Ghost fell it's pull. It knew from the Fallen chatter it could overhear that they felt it too..and that power was coming from behind them. The Ghost had two choices; repair itself and let whatever it was fall into the hands of the Fallen, or lay it's salvation at the feet of whatever that power may be. It chose. Ghost fragment #3 - The ramshackle crew were in disarray. They had rarely seen one of the little lights flying so far from the city, and the Dreg who shot it knew if he took it back to his Captain, he would be recommended for bionic augmentation. He wanted his arms back, his docking to be undone. He wanted to be more than he was. Barking orders at the weaker Dregs in his motley cadre, he turned back just in time to see the machine he was chasing. He drew his shock pistol once more, but the Ghost zipped straight past him, past his whole crew, back the way they'd come. Howling in anger, he started to run, shooting at it all the while. Ghost fragment #4 - Low on power, forcing it's damages beyond anything it could repair, the light of it's digital soul twinkling on and off like a star in the night, it doggedly searched for the Light, the power that would ultimately mean it had done it's job well. And..there. A headstone in the ground, names, dates and information all scoured clean by the ravages of time. The power was coming from below it, buried deep. Terrified by the angry chittering and bellowing of the Fallen it could hear in pursuit, it transferred the last vestiges of emergency power and sang it's song of Light. Rounds passed the Ghost as the Dreg broke into the clearing, somehow sounding simultaneously angry and happy while it lined up a final shot..until the ground rumbled and everything stopped. Ghost fragment #5 - A slender, pale hand burst forth from the soil, seeking the purchase of solid foundation and the warmth of the sun. A gasp escaped from her mouth as she pulled herself from the ground, her pale features deeply marked by the dirt of centuries, her lungs burning with their first inhalation in eons. Finally pulling herself free of her earthly tomb, she felt the heat of shock rounds barely missing her, close enough to singe skin and burn the earthly grime from her arms. The Fallen were closing in, curious about the soilborn creature and the power they could feel emanating from her but knowing immediately that she was one of the City's protectors, and thus owed a death. Her face distorted in anger, eyes burning brighter than the sun above, and she stretched out her hand. White light was the last thing those Dregs saw. Ghost fragment #6 - The Ghost had to close it's protective lid to cover it's eye from the blast. Too bright! It felt even more damaged now, afraid to reopen it's ocular cover in case it found itself on the ground, ready for entombment by the years of dust and time that all dead Ghosts end up buried beneath. "Open your eye, little one." It didn't recognize the voice, but it sounded..ancient. Could hear the ringing tones of incomprehensible power bubbling under the surface. And, upon restoring visuals, it discovered that it was whole once more. Rebuilt in the light, not a scratch or blemish on it's cover. "But..but, how? No, let's not worry about that now. You must have questions, who you are and where you are and.." "I am Jyoti. I..remember. I remember everything." Edit - got bored, wrote lore.
