Bet you haven't seen one of these threads since Vanilla Destiny, huh? Well, I'm bringing one back to share what I think should be added in Destiny and hear what you guys think should be added to a wholly incomplete and lacking game. It had and still has great potential with it's themes and lore and ideas, but it obviously needs to be added upon.
So, I'll bring up an elephant in the room just to get it over with already and not have people spam it here; spaceship gameplay. Full ship stats, different engines and guns and chassis', and the ability to just cruise about space freely, maybe running into some pirating Fallen skiffs or territorial Cabal ships along the way and blast them to shit in dogfights. They could also play interesting roles in certain story missions. There should also obviously be a Crucible mode for PvP dogfights.
Then, there should be unique mobility options to each class. For Hunters, wall running and ascending vertical surfaces quicker, as well as jumping further distances to cross chasms and other dangerous gaps with. For Titans, jumping into higher heights and charging into certain surfaces to bust them open and open up more pathways in maps, breakable surfaces being wood, sheet metal, crumbling cement, or closed doors. Hell, they could even shoulder-charge trees down to make bridges across gaps with, or crush someone to death with! For Warlocks, they would still have blink, but the only class to have it, and they could also be the only class to levitate!
Also, ASSASSINATIONS AND STEALTH MECHANICS. I WANT TO HAVE SNEEKY ESPIONAGE MISSIONS AND I WANT TO SEE HUNTERS SLITTING THROATS, TITANS BREAKING NECKS AND BACKS, AND WARLOCKS THUNDERCLAPPING PEOPLE'S HEADS INTO OBLIVION WITH THEIR FORCE PUSH, ALL IN GLORIOUS EXECUTION ANIMATIONS.

I think subclasses should be cut so people can mix and match abilities of different elements. I also want to add a mind-control ability to Warlocks which works like a grenade or a melee that temporarily makes enemy NPCs fight against their allies.
The Fallen should also have more mobility abilities. Their animations in the first level of Destiny shows that they can climb vertical surfaces like spiders, but they never did so after that level. Having them climb and shoot from vertical vantage points would make fighting them a whole lot more interesting, and Hunters with my idea of mobility options having melee fights with climbing Fallen while wallrunning would be epic.
And BY MERCIFUL GOD, GRAVITY DIFFERENCE MUST BE IMPLEMENTED ON EACH OF THE PLANETS. I thought the low gravity of Mars would be a neat bit of both mechanics and Cabal lore, since I think the Cabal originated from a high-gravity planet, and they chose Mars in particular to colonize within our solar system since it's the terrestrial planet of lowest gravity on which they can move themselves and objects more easily because they grew so much muscle on their homeworld already in order to live on it properly ((like John Carter)). It would also make them much more intimidating during gameplay when they can leap hundreds of feet into and across the air and chuck giant boulders or other large objects at you. Hell, they could even throw you!

1 답변I just want a storyline that lets me create my own exotic weapon. Say start with a weapon frame and choose arch type. Do some stuff to gain a choice for each node from an interactive perk tree so my choices affect what I can pick later. Then when all the nodes are full we pick an exotic perk and name it. Then I'd feel like I'd become legend.

The activity players go to when they want to do anything. Though I'll say raids would be excluded. Patrol in itself should have missions build into public events, that or send players to other players doing missions or strikes to help out. Public events especially, and other activities should have at least a time related challenge that nets loot with value based on how fast you completed them. This way there is always something going on and you could always have a chance at rewards should you have the skill to do so. Rewards shouldn't be limited to just a piece of armor or weapon. Yeah it's primarily what we are after, but you can give us other stuff in the game too. You know like things that would help boost faction rep in some way now that you figured that out. Treasure chests could do more of this also. It's not hard bungie. This was advertised as a game that brings players together to tackle challenges. You are clearly not focused on that at all unfortunately.
